I Had Jollibees for the first time In Saudi Arabia. The chicken is Fire. The spaghetti is fire. The peach mango pie is fire. The pineapple drink is fire. I love it. I will see if it is just as good in the US. I hope to one day go to the Philippines to try it and many other dishes.
They have Jollibee in the U.S. bit it's not own by philippines or has many philipino workers there. The food doss t taste as good as when you go other country. U S. Jollibee taste alot different. When I got tbe chicken it taste like old grease tbe spaghetti tasted plain. Tbe pineapple juice was salty. Idk if they added salt to it or not but them idk might just be my location in the U.S. that Jollibee does it.

What did you expect from the fast food chain? I'd been there too before. I thought on my first day of work that they're making food from scratch. Then suddenly, I saw someone getting a pouch of spaghetti sauce from the storage room and started preheating the sauce and then putting it in the kitchen. and I was amazed and realized that's why they're making food so fast.

Also for those who think working on Jollibee means you can steal their recipe like I use to cook gravy but it's already powder you will cook in mid heat. Nah. The large peach mango pie was the regular size WAAAAAYYYYY back and then they reduced it to the small one and then brought the og size back and marketed it as "LARGE" bec people are complaining why the tuna pie is bigger than the peach mango pie. And yes, I am old that's why I know.

When they first opened in New York (Queens), they had a hard time frying the chicken, our first bucket was overcooked. Over a few months to a year they finally got the cooking right. My niece and nephew love jollibee. Nawiwirduhan lang ako sa adobo rice nila.

Must I have said that they should have hired and trained their employees first before they opened? Or at least they have someone that is already an expert in the menu. This is basic in opening restaurants,etc.. You don't open a restaurant and then lern how to cook your menu.

I believe when you said you agreed, that you only agreed the burger coz LumpiaQueen said she liked the burger in the US better..but the Spag and Palabok, she prefers the local ones here in PH coz they were mellowed down flavor wise in the US. And if you noticed, she only said 'BETTER' for the burger. So I guess she wanted to say the Spag and Palabok are better here in the PH but was cautious enough so she only said that the flavors were made to cater to the American palate. Colonial menrality still lingers in her since she criticized the PH version but not the American ones. 😢
