Cane’s chicken has almost no flavor unless you use the canes sauce. I’ve found that if you don’t like canes sauce, canes is very underwhelming. Luckily I love the canes sauce so I do enjoy canes.

Disagree. It’s taking one thing and doing it well. It’s consistent, which is high praise for fast food. Getting it to go is not nearly as good as eating it fresh, and extra sauce is a must. It does vary by location, but only slightly.
They’ll let you sub out the slaw for extra toast. And when you order, pick mean size first, then drink, then slaw or extra toast. That’s how they’re system is set up & they’ll love you for going in that order. The 4 piece fills my wife & I & it’s $10 plus tax. Enjoy!

It's strange that they put such a large focus on their chicken tenders when they have to rely on dipping sauce to make it taste good. I had the tenders before and the tenders by themselves were no better than the tenders you could get at Popeyes or even KFC imo. At the time, I also thought the fries were mid and the Texas Toast wasn't anything special.

I recently had Raising Cane. I don't think it's worth the price. I found the chicken fingers rather bland, if I must be honest. If I cannot enjoy a restaurant's chicken fingers or chicken nuggets or even chicken without the sauce, I really don't see any point in trying them again. I even tried sauce with my chicken fingers and still found them underwhelming. The only item I had really enjoyed was the Texas Toast.
The price? Their prices are low compared to other chains. In Phoenix we get a 4 piece with friends, toast & a drink for $11 & my wife & I split it & it fills us both. That’s less than $6 per person. A breakfast biscuit at McD’s is $7 these days & definitely won’t fill you.
One opened in the smallish city where I live and it was mass hysteria for the first month. Police directing traffic, barriers up to prevent illegal left turns into the parking lot, people parking in the residential neighborhoods. There is definitely a lot of hype. I haven’t tried it. Prefer Popeye’s but maybe someday when the hype has died down! Great review! The fries looked mouthwatering, by the way. Love crinkle cut fries and it’s rare to find them at chains.
The sauce is essential man! I see canes as its own category of chicken. Good for a very particular moment/feeling, like after a baseball game, or after not eating all day, or after a long day of travel...something like that.
I am from Malaysia. I remember back in 2019 when it was my first time in the US and had my first Raising Cane's in Houston Texas, I was so amazed as the chicken tenders are much bigger compared to this, and so good too. It actually left a very good impression on me. Nevertheless, Raising Cane's was named after the owner's dog makes it even special in my heart. I am not sure how it's been now, but I am glad that it makes it this far. Great video! Edit: It's in San Antonio, sorry :)
I actually like raising Cane’s because when I did cook big construction jobs they was more than willing to accommodate the needs of myself and cruising the food is awesome specially if you working hard like you work in big Hart jobs you want all that grease and fat you’ve that’s something that you want when you’re doing you know industrial construction so I like it a lot I enjoy raising canes is really awesome

And I've been to Popeye's, Chick Fil A, Sticky's Finger Joint, and a few more. I was excited to find out they were opening a Raising Cain's in NYC. Then I went a month back or so when they officially opened. The tenders were good, but not as good as the ones in Cali. And the portions were smaller. And the fries were terrible. And the bread was soggy. I decided to give them a 2nd chance last week. Same problem. Smaller portions than the ones on the West Coast, terrible fries, so so bread. AND the worse thing? The price is $ 2.00 more. I'll try the 2nd branch that they are opening in a few weeks and see if its better.. if not.. no more Cain's here on the East Coast! Your review is Spot on for this location.

People seem to not care about the value of speed and convenance. Sometimes I prefer getting food quickly and no fast food joint beats Raising Cane's speedy service. 3-5 minutes at the drive through and you're on your way.

Back in the 1960's, Flip Wilson (a black comedian) had a bit on his show that claimed it was originally called "black sauce," until a patron walked into a black-owned Southern restaurant once and said, "Hey, wha's dis here sauce?" If you ever go to England, try not to pronounce Cholmondeley. :)

Had it a few years ago at their location in Massachusetts and was honestly not impressed. Food wasn't bad per say but definitely not worth the hype. It can't hold a candle to Chik Fil A which might hands down be my favorite place for good fast food.
I've eaten multiple times at Cane's, Popeye's, and Chik-fil-a. I like them all (though I haven't been to CFA for years), but Cane's is easily the blandest chicken. Their tenders are basically just a vehicle for the sauce, which is quite good, IMO. Popeye's chicken - especially their sandwich - is the best in my view.
Chic fil a chicken is tastier. But the fries at cane’s are better. Also, the lines at Chic Fil A tend to be longer. Also, I think you should try it at a less crowded spot.
I’ve given Caines multiple chances & just thought it wasn’t worth the hype. They really rely on that sauce to save the day. When I saw it was going in Times Square I was disappointed because the space could have been used for something better.

Gas Station chicken is better than Raising Canes. Krispy Krunchy Chicken operates in gas stations and their chicken blows canes out of the water.

Had it a few years ago at their location in Massachusetts and was honestly not impressed. Food wasn't bad per say but definitely not worth the hype. It can't hold a candle to Chik Fil A which might hands down be my favorite place for good fast food.

I've eaten multiple times at Cane's, Popeye's, and Chik-fil-a. I like them all (though I haven't been to CFA for years), but Cane's is easily the blandest chicken. Their tenders are basically just a vehicle for the sauce, which is quite good, IMO. Popeye's chicken - especially their sandwich - is the best in my view.
Chic fil a chicken is tastier. But the fries at cane’s are better. Also, the lines at Chic Fil A tend to be longer. Also, I think you should try it at a less crowded spot.

I’ve given Caines multiple chances & just thought it wasn’t worth the hype. They really rely on that sauce to save the day. When I saw it was going in Times Square I was disappointed because the space could have been used for something better.
