I kit bashed this with the ‘71 Ranger to build a 69 long box with the 6 cylinder like we had. Painted it the lighter Ford blue, overpainted it with a darker blue like ours and bent the step bumper. Stripped the chrome and grille and painted them white as ours was a base work truck. Checker plate in the box and there, a perfect replica of the truck my brother loved. It finally died at 325,000 original miles. Thanks Model King for making a kit I never thought I would see.
You made me buy this kit. Love it, I build my stuff factory stock....so this was right up my alley. 1st low production kit. Instruction sheet is nothing I've ever seen. The grille is amazing. Thanks for this.
+Capri RS I'm beside myself with glee. When I saw this, I looked this "store" up. They have an eBay store front. I've never bought a kit of this detail, even if it's not "Level 4 or 5".
I am totally impressed by the quality of this model co. I just recieved my first Moebius in the mail and was exited opening it up. I was saying out loud many times "WHOA" ! " WOAH " ! " REALLY? WHOOOOOA ". IF ONLY Amt and Revell could be doing this . 110% quality + price.
I remember building this year's ago the 71 Ranger, Star truck the kit was from AMT Matchbox so I'm looking forward to building this new one! gonna go order it tonight when get home I think!
Thanks, good job on the review. We, at NAS Oceana, had a 95 Chevy work truck, half ton. It lasted over ten years, but had less than 45,000 miles on it. We sold it, at auction, for $500.00, to an employee. I like the online six too!
will that grill fit on the 1971 ranger kit? I'm getting a 1968 f250 with a 360 big block and I want to build a model that is as close as I can get to it, and that is the grill it has but in white, but its not a short box.
Thanks Chris For the Nice kit Review My Classmate in High School had the Nicest Street Machine SWB F100 Pickup I've Ever Seen it Was a 70 in a Very Rare 1970 only Color that had eye Tricking Effect in it. In one light it looked White but in another it looked Very very Light Blue. On Overcast Rainy Days looked White Bright Sunny looked Light light blue but definitely blue. It had a 428 CJ with 4 speed. And Racing Vetical Gate Shifter It was Super Cool. I'll need to Get 2 Moebus kits to build it. thanks s 69 & the 70. But I needed the 6 for a 84 F150 build of Truck I owned thanks for Model Car Mountain Positive Experience on some of his s older out of production stuff he's a bit too high on price but fairly current Releases seems Fair
I wish they had the correct mirrors, those mirrors didn't show up until 73. Yes you see a lot of them on older trucks but they were all swapped on also the little badge part on the glove box shouldn't be there but it could be sanded off I also didn't see any reflectors for the bed sides or below the taillights and some of the F O R D tailgate decals are not correct for that year of truck
ha Pat I really enjoyed your review on the 69&71 f 100 kits! you probably know the 69 shortbed that you could take a 53 to56 stepside bed an use it too make a correct 69 stepwise Ford used that bed 53 to72 .
The straight 6 does run forever I bought one if these trucks, and I swear no one has ever done anything to it (Fun fact: The firing order is 153624 15 is too young 36 is too old 24 is just right)
Im a big gm square body truck and gm gbody cars fan but I have a second gen dodge ram laramie slt quad cab long bed 1500 4x4 and yep i would definitely own a bumpside Ford truck especially if it is a 69 Ford f250 ranger
its a shame this is not sold in the u.k I could order it from the states but I would get shafted by u.k customs as I have been in the past and it gets very costly to buy. if any body knows if there is any body selling this model in the u.k please let me know asi would loveto add this one to my collection of trucks
Guess I might have a little bit of an advantage on this model.I can probably put it together without the instructions. I owned and rebuilt a 69 Ford Ranger F-100 lwb. lol I know where everything goes. lol

I was looking at this on line... Awesome looking kit. For sure will be picking one up. Good video.

Just FYI, they also have an actual website to buy from too. That's where I got mine.
There should be other sites that carry this variant as well.
I still want one!

I just got the '71 Ranger, I'm getting this one too. I'm a Ford Fanatic, and it was a pleasant surprise to get a "bump side" model kit!
these last two videos you did on these kits has really inspired me to try doing some old trucks like this. i just got into the hobby and it's awesome.
rjftrebor Enjoy! And remember, it's all about having fun first.
So happy to see a review of the 69. Many thanks for doing this.
Great close-ups of sharp details - nice kit.
Many thanks!

Nice review on both new Trucks! I have 2 short beds on their way. So excited. Bin waiting impatiently for these to come out.
Another cool kit, MANNN I love that thing.
AMERICAN LEGEND They are sharp. If you want a stepside, the bed from the AMT '53 will fit.
Cool tip, 1:1 same thing, I did that on my 1981 F100.

The inline six makes it a must-have!
Another excellent review & video from you! Thanks for posting your review!
JackFlemingFan Thanks for watching!
This is a good looking kit sir, thanks for the share.
Great review. I didn't know I wanted it until now.

steve courtney Thanks for watching Steve. :)
Very good review.Great job.
Where can we find the other version of this truck that you keep mentioning in the video that is just moebius?
Another awesome review, thanks a bunch !!!
Thank you!
Is there another video where you build this truck?
I have built 4 or 5 of these Fords from Moebius on here, just not this exact kit.
Great job! Thanks!
BIGPOPRL Thanks! :)

Sorry, no idea what other kits it would fit.
Dear Mr HPI - did you build it yet?
Nope, way too busy on new kit releases.

Grt kit!!!
are there any reviews on the 70 short bed ford
+John Carden You'll have to search you tube. I do not own it yet, sorry.
Do you know if there is a 92 f - 150 truck. Looking for any manufacturers that made it. Any replays welcome. Tks Kevin
AMT makes a 92 and a 94 as far as I know.

Surprised that the doors are not detached. Manufacturer should have made them movable like hood.

Thanks! 52 full builds in 2018 and counting on the channel!

(Fun fact:

The 240 L6 was a good engine option and actually most mistakes them for the 300 L6 when they run across them under the hood of the 67-73 trucks
@@richardbates2367 I only have the 300s.
Im a big gm square body truck and gm gbody cars fan but I have a second gen dodge ram laramie slt quad cab long bed 1500 4x4 and yep i would definitely own a bumpside Ford truck especially if it is a 69 Ford f250 ranger
They should do a Dodge pickup of this vintage, might make me get out my paint and glue again.
To be sure I am not the only one who likes long beds or 4 door cars.??????
Quiero uno
its a shame this is not sold in the u.k I could order it from the states but I would get shafted by u.k customs as I have been in the past and it gets very costly to buy. if any body knows if there is any body selling this model in the u.k please let me know asi would loveto add this one to my collection of trucks
They are all over eBay if that helps you..

Very cool. Love stripper trucks. Um stripped down trucks. I don't know any strippers with trucks.
I would buy a couple of 4x4 kits and turn this truck into a lifted 4x4. And stick the 360 in it.
v6!
Not everyone likes a shortbed truck it a two door car !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL, chill man.
