My wife rolls her eyes whenever I watch one of your videos, because she knows I'll be going to pick up another kit after I'm done with the one I'm on! Love the videos man! Subscribed for life!
Anybody who does the kind of work you do on your models is serious about it. But you also make it quite clear that you're having fun as well. If you're not having fun at a hobby, why do it? BTW, that's a great representation of a vehicle that seen a lot of work and a lot of winter.
I just purchased this model truck kit. I was Born in 65 and my Grandfather had this very truck. The only difference was , He had the short bed . Lots of memories. Oh how I miss those days . My Dad taught me how to drive on this truck. I loved driving it .
I love the way you tell the story of the truck - lowering the pallet, a hail storm, leaking fluids and a sawn off exhaust - makes it so real I can see the owner. Hey, it could be me!
OMG! This is the truck I drove when I was in high school back on the 80’s! I have been searching for a kit of my truck. Mine was the same color as the kit box.....long bed, and 352!! Thank you!
You and me both LOL my Dad passed along his 66 Ford custom cab and I drove it to high school in the 80's as well. Three speed on the tree, so fun to drive.
My Dad passed along his 66 model of this truck to me in high school. Same bumper and blue color you did in this build! Love your videos and the way you have fun making models your way. 👍
I remember seeing these pick-up trucks when I was a kid..where I used to go to church at the pastor's dad had a green&white colored 1965 style side long bed👍👍👍😊😊😊
I bought a 1970 F-100 about ten years ago for £75 from the salvage yard. It took me £120 to get it to drive and I drove it five years. I sold it for £2000. It was the best investment I have ever made and miss it.

What a great looking rig. A couple of straw bales and a big ol tractor tire in the bed and that would make a great ol farm truck. Really enjoy watching your videos especially when you do the rust and dirty stuff Keep them coming 😊👍

A little strip of grey duct tape on the seat. A broken lens. Beautiful job. Super channel. I kinda quit building models about the year of this truck, looking at this kit, I'll venture back.
I used to build models as a kid back in the late 70's and early 80's. Fast forward 40 years and I've found a new love and respect for the hobby that kept me occupied for so many hours as a kid. Just happened to stumble upon your TH-cam channel and watched this one. Your videos are an inspiration to a generation that I though was long forgotten about. The finished truck wreaks of nostalgia and childhood memories!! LOVE IT!!! I have subscribed and can't wait to see more. I am getting back into this with much more detail than i could as a kid!
I remember seeing many trucks like that here in Florida back in the day. All but the snow tires.....lol Great job on the weathering Chris. Looking forward to see what's next on the bench.
I always enjoy watching your builds. I really liked this one. It would look cool with old auto parts in the bed of the truck like he just got them from a junkyard for a vehicle he might be fixing up
I’ve looked all over for the 1966 short bed version of this vehicle and the only one I could find for sale was on eBay for $75. So I’m doing what I can to turn my 65’ into a 66’ so I can model it after my late father-in-law’s truck.
I love the “weathered” models. Your techniques are awesome. Every time I watch you do one I can’t help thinking how cool it would be to have some McDonald’s type of trash to throw around on the floor.

A very well detailed Kit that gas some details seen in very few kits!!! Looks like that Deutz Tractor you did its ready for another day working around the farm!!
Really enjoyed your video. Your enthusiasm is contagious, i was like "wow, heck of a model"! Im a disabled combat veteran and trying to get into building models. I haven't built a model in over 40 years so im a little intimidated watching most of these videos. Everyone is so exacting and super precise. I was very relieved to hear you say, lighten up and have fun! Thank you so much, im gonna subscribe and learn by watching you. Have a wonderful evening.

Great paint and weathering job. When I built truck models I always tried to get mine to look well used. My first truck was a 65 Chevy long bed and man did it look used, but it was steal at $175.00. Another great I learned a lot from this video thanks so much!

Great job. Im gonna watch some of your other vids.I need some tutorials on weathering.Ive built ALOT of model boats, but building my first 1/25 scale 1960 chevy truck
Actually....just kidding lol! I can see this as an actual road truck. Great, great job! My first car, a '77 Monte Carlo had snow tires on the back. I put a pair of Dunlop GT Qualifer 60s on that bad boy all around! The metal wear looks amazing, if that old timer is not careful, he is about to enter a world of fender rot. When I first saw the floor of the interior finished, I thought you went for a work truck floor, plastic/rubber. Carpet worn down works too. Thanks for the incredible builds.
That's a great touch with the front tires! Those I beam front ends didn't go wonky very often, but when they did a standard alignment place couldn't do em,cuz you had to have a special jig to heat and bend the actual I beam to straighten them out. Was a pain in the butt finding a shop to do it. We had a heavy truck place about 30 miles away and they could xdo light trucks also.

As always great build 👍. My idea exactly rust up all the spare parts and throw them in the bed like hes making a scrap run. Great work on the weathering.
Love the kits you do with so much detail. Really dig all the "STYRENE" parts on those trees. Great details you did with that "STYRENE" in this kit! And by the way man, thanks for showing how you do the weathering, and what you use. I like how you sometimes don't even paint the "STYRENE" but add weathering detail to it. Awesomely cool bro, see you in the next video!!!! Do you think I used the word-"oh forget it!" ;-)
Right! It really irked that guy and he was a big jerk about it so now I have to say it more often!! Thanks for stopping by and sharing a nice word! I appreciate the fun loving viewers!
Awesome job ! Love that weathering. Makes it look so much better. I need to start building again. I also like how you use spray paints. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys!
Me too!
As the owner of a fullsize white '66 F100 styleside long bed, let me say that this is AMAZING.
Thanks Pat!
