Im a burger king employee myself, and someone placed an order the other day and never came back to pick it up, and as i left work i found a homeless woman nearby and i gave the food to her. I could eat BK anytime but she couldnt. We need more people to help those in need

I had this happen to me, I was going to get a sub sandwich and was asked for a handout, at first I told the guy no because I'm disabled and on a fixed income just above the poverty level, I took maybe 3 steps turned around and gave him everything I had short of my sandwich money, and I'll never regret it. My mother taught me it's your generosity that matters and the thought that counts not what they might do with it. What they do with your generosity is on them.

I know some people say oh don’t give money they’ll spend it on drugs as an excuse not to help, but it’s about helping and empowering people to have that choice and for every person who does use it for drugs, others will use it for food. And who are we to judge other for drug use when 95% of people drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes or weed or do recreational drugs? Help people for the sake of helping and stop judging and projecting. It’s not your job to decide who is worthy of help, just help, everyone is worthy of care and kindness 💕

Explained how he had been outside for 4 hours in 100+ heat and we were the only ones who stopped to help him. What is wrong with this world? That we forgot we are all humans. I once had a homeless gentleman in Houston Texas offer me part of his dinner when my car broke down underneath the freeway where he lived was one of the best meals I've ever had one of the best conversations I've ever had God bless his heart and his soul he was a great man

Personally, I believe it's sinful not to extend your hand to your brothers and sisters. I live in a city with a high homeless population BUT not nearly as high as other cities. There are drug and alcohol addictions and I get that it's hard to give if you feel your kindness will be "misused". BE KIND AND GENEROUS ANYWAYS. It makes no difference to me what/ how people live their lives. I will NEVER pass a fellow human being on the street without taking a moment of my time to do my best to make their day a lil better😊 Wtf is life all about if not about improving the 🌎 we live in. I try to help as many as I can but I'm even making sacrifices for others. It's tough.

This, is what breaks my heart. ANYONE that I have ever encountered, if they were hungry, they ATE! I grew up on very humble beginnings and my mother fed anyone that walked in our home that was hungry. We ALL need to show love and take care of EACH OTHER! Cars, cell phones, any material thing is WORTHLESS! We are all part of one big family, the human race!

There was a time a lady at bagel shop counting coins to buy bagel she was only 80 cents I paid for her. The way she thanked me captured my heart and I remember each day how grateful that you can give than receive. Be kind to one and other.

When I was 8 years old I went to Walmart with my mom at 6:30 am before school to do some errands and I saw a man outside the store with shredded up clothes and no shoes, we went inside and I asked my mom for $5 which at the time was a bit ,so I got a big bag of chips and a Dr.pepper, I went outside and I handed the man the food, he was thanking me and was on his knees appreciating me, as a normal 8 year old I felt a bit awkward and went back inside. When my mom and I left to get me to school that man saluted to me as I left; now it was 40 degrees that morning in Louisiana I don’t know how he withstood it. But the next day I went to Walmart again, and I didn’t see him. To this day I still think about what happened to that man and all I hope is that he paid that good deed forward. (It was like 2016ish)
Could’ve been an angel testing you or you mom, you never know, but just know the good deeds you do never goes unrecognized or forgotten. And you can receive so many blessings from that in the future and not know that was the reason why. 😊❤

This, is what breaks my heart. ANYONE that I have ever encountered, if they were hungry, they ATE! I grew up on very humble beginnings and my mother fed anyone that walked in our home that was hungry. We ALL need to show love and take care of EACH OTHER! Cars, cell phones, any material thing is WORTHLESS! We are all part of one big family, the human race!

Years ago I was stopped from giving change to a homeless man by a woman who stated he'd only use it to buy alcohol,the pained look in his eyes made me ask him if he would prefer fish and chips?His SMILE&tears when i handed him the bag was worth more than verbal thanks.

There was a time a lady at bagel shop counting coins to buy bagel she was only 80 cents I paid for her. The way she thanked me captured my heart and I remember each day how grateful that you can give than receive. Be kind to one and other.

When I was 8 years old I went to Walmart with my mom at 6:30 am before school to do some errands and I saw a man outside the store with shredded up clothes and no shoes, we went inside and I asked my mom for $5 which at the time was a bit ,so I got a big bag of chips and a Dr.pepper, I went outside and I handed the man the food, he was thanking me and was on his knees appreciating me, as a normal 8 year old I felt a bit awkward and went back inside. When my mom and I left to get me to school that man saluted to me as I left; now it was 40 degrees that morning in Louisiana I don’t know how he withstood it. But the next day I went to Walmart again, and I didn’t see him. To this day I still think about what happened to that man and all I hope is that he paid that good deed forward. (It was like 2016ish)
Could’ve been an angel testing you or you mom, you never know, but just know the good deeds you do never goes unrecognized or forgotten. And you can receive so many blessings from that in the future and not know that was the reason why. 😊❤
