I've been debating getting synthetic dreads for a while now, and watching your vids just sealed the deal for me. Your hairstyle is similar to mine and how i want them to look. So seeing how badass they look on you... i need them.
I think your dreads are pretty dope. I personally like when your hair starts to grow back and you have a half inch of growth in on sides. I think it looks waaay prettier

I've read that if your hair is three inches or longer, you should be able to wear synthetic dreads. As long as you can braid your hair around the dread at least twice, I believe, you're okay.
About how much do they cost you for a whole "set"? I'm really getting interested in getting some.

Do you have to have your hair a certain length in order to use wool dreads? My hair goes to about my ears when it's straightened.

+Diana Ramos If they are applied correctly, they will not rip out. (However, it may seem that way when you DO take them out because people naturally shed daily.) Hair is very strong especially when groups together. There is even a circus of sorts where the performers do tricks such as swing from their hair, lift with their hair, etc. In this video, she is currently wearing dreads made out of wool.

I have almost the same natural hair as you. I'm 14 and want to cut my hair really short like a pixie cut... I have always had my hair pretty short, to my shoulders but I don't feel good with long hair because I look too girly (i'm trans but haven't come out to my parents yet) Do you think I should cut it alredy or wait for a while?
I'm not saying that short hair is ONLY for guys but I sort of look like a guy with my hair up.

Half of these people really don't know what a death hawk is, huh? It's a hair style! Basically a big ass long ass Mohawk with SIDE BURNS (ear tails). Do your research. This is a dread hawk. She looks lovely no matter what hairstyle she has. A shaved head, a Mohawk, she is great.

You don't need to shave the sides of your head at all if you don't want to (unless you want a similar hairstyle to hers, of course). You'd just need more wool dreads.

How long does your hair have to be for synth dreads? I used to have real dreads but I shaved them off, and my hair is still growing out.
+ThisIsNotMyName As long as you can make a braid, you can install dreads. Generally 3-4 inches is as short as people do it.
