Good video Krono! I would also recommend people who invested in Einea series to simply wait. We do not know if we will have new series of Ektasis (like Vio, Arga, Belta, Sheza variant), will we be able to keep our augments or fixas, etc. Those armors are very easy to get and we can always decide when gear evolving system is released.
Also, defense stats matters very little (especially compared to damage resist stats). +3 extra defense stats on each armor is about 0.6% damage resist (varies based on contents) but it is really something minor to mention, especially when you consider Einea ABS has built-in 1% damage resist.
don't re-augment if you have endgame abilities, use ability transfers, that's what they're made for

I low-key wonder if Sega is going to kill off the armor variants and just make the stats you want to lean into more just modable that it works like the variants. It would be a very interesting change.
It said it in the patch notes that these armors will be upgradeable. So there is really no need to wait. Might as well if you have the vouchers or item protection and success rate capsules.
It is my assumption you will be able to craft the units to your variant of choice.
Yeah, I have Fixa 5 Einea units, so I'll be waiting a while on Ektasis, but I've already started building a Guard unit. I'm focusing on one while waiting for prices to drop on others, assuming I don't get one as a drop too. I value defensive stats, so I will be holding out for those sub stats from the upgrades, and am expecting Mastery V by then too. The weapon, I'm more likely to step into early. I have a feeling it'll be good enough at base power, but not necessarily past Wingard to give people who don't get the freebie transfer more time to breathe.
Same here, I'm in no rush to upgrade, my Wines units are also fixa 5 and the augments are maxed out. I also value defense stats. I'm going to wait until I build a fully enhanced fixa unit before I waste a transfer pass then slowly build two more. Maybe I'll be done by winter lol.
I did upgrade, My Einea only have LC and Triyal augments anyway.
And also, I have 3 Anaddi Parfait's sitting in my inventory.
I went from 195% Potency, 77% Floor Pot, 218PP to 226.3% Potency, 80.1 Floor Pot, 235PP.
For the ektasis armor, I just been saving them for now since like you said can hold on to them till then.
Im using the belta's myself for einenea
but as Im using LCs for most part my augs are pretty fine.
I will go watch your video on augs for wpn as I wonder what your top 4 for the wpn are since I use 3 ex augs, sadly i haven't manage to find my 3 ex augs for my wpn that i want
I have a set for my melee, ranged and tech focused characters, but I'm going to let them cook in the background through small upgrades while I wait for what the new upgrade feature to be available. I'm also waiting for better fixas to be on the market. My current gear is way too expensive to replace and I'm still building up transfer vouchers so I'm good sitting on what I got.
For high investment players ironically enough now is the time to snipe for cheap fixa 5 Eineeas to keep them excellent while waiting for the armor upgrades.
I don't know if it has been confirmed or denied, but I personally want to see if there will be Arga, Belta and Sheza versions of the Ektasis armor before I start investing in them
Since after almost a year playing I realized that multi weapons don't scale with the main weapon's potency (played with techter using arga and multi weaponing with sword) now I'll have to upgrade an new set for tech potency, right after I spent 15m buying stamelra anaddis.

Augment for what your main class pot is. Use main class weapon. Sell annadis in a week and rebuy in correct ones in 3 weeks when scratch comes back out.
Where you running a spiral edge overcharge build on techer?
Potency type has nothing to do with your main class or sub class (unless you have braver or bouncer class skill that converts certain potency type), it is based on whatever potency type that specific attack is from which category. Say if a weapon is using rifle PA, then it is ranged potency, your main class or sub class will not change its potency type what so ever.
seasonal weapons are more of just a pick you up if you are newer to the game as the potential's are roughly always similar to being a free wpn to let you carry on with minimal work
other than that they don't have anything note worthy yet
I only lost a bit of hp, transfered from the vida varient. Just have one more unit to put Grand Dread Keeper 2 on to be complete.

is there a running troll with pso developers to make names of things tough to pronounce and spell?
my eniea build was pretty underwhelming (sans augments) so i just swicthed over using my 2 transfer passes. if i had high orgsys and better variant combo i probably would have held off a little longer. i wonder what materials are going to be needed for the upgrades. i hope its just raw armor pieces.

Augment Transfer pass Vouchers work for armor as well.
I can vouch as I used my first to go from Octo Sheza to Einea Arga.
@Ars-Nova258 it's weird because I have 1 transfer pass an when I go to click on the armor I want to transfer to it's not there
You have to unequip the armors and also maybe unlock them as well.
I'll pass on the upgrade for now
