I saw it live, just watching random games on a Sunday. I just stared at the tv, I felt like it was not reality. I thought it was like a fake game or something. I still can't believe it to this day lol.
Game WINNING interception. Anyway, sour fans who don't know the rules aside, it was a jump ball, and the rule is that if the receiver and the defender are fighting for the ball and neither loses possession, that's receiver's ball. The call on the field WAS CORRECT.
ThisIsSolution whichever is superior is irrelevant. You definitely implied Tate had hands on it... which means he had possession. If there was such a thing as better possession then it would go to the defender but there’s only dual possession which goes to offender. Hate the rules not the call which was correct(missed offensive pi on the play though)
I saw the game on TV in San Diego with San Diego announcers. It was in 1978. I have never been more devastated by a team losing than that Chargers loss in a regular season game. It was clearly not a real fumble
Mark Bravo It doesn't have to go behind his body, it just has to be behind where it was when he finally releases it, i.e. right at 8:01 when it leaves his fingertip. From there, wherever the ball is when the receiver touches it is what determines if it was a backwards throw or not.
Kyle Kwarsick ok the commentator had said watch where the players are which was making me think the ball has to be tossed behind the players to make it a lateral pass and not from where it was initially released. So i guess that's correct then
@JIM PATS LOSE I don't get it. The video was uploaded in October of 2016. The Minneapolis Miracle took place about a year ago. A month ago, Daniel Olsen describes what he calls the Vikings players, on that day. Chronologically, I see nothing out of place. What does his comment have to do with November, 2016?
StllBreathnBut_Y miracle for a defense, i dont think u know how good the titans were at those short scoring, look at the redzone stats they were insane
The Eli Manning pass was the most exhilarating and fun to watch play ever as they beat the Pats in that super bowl. What a pass and catch and how he got out of that "almost sack" was incredible! What a game!
Earlier in the game he'd caught a touchdown, and the announcer said he'd never caught a bigger pass in his career. It was true. At the time. Then his next--and final--catch of his career turned out to be even bigger. I remember watching that play as it happened. At the time, I thought, "if the Giants score on this drive and win the game, that catch is going to become legendary." I knew I'd just witnessed something special. That catch saved the drive, eventually setting up a touchdown throw to Plaxico Burress. The Patriots couldn't answer, the Giants won, and the play--as I'd predicted--became legendary. Tyree would never catch another football in the NFL, but what a last catch.
zyberzyber the Fail Mary was a final play between the Seahawks and the Packers during the year of the replacement refs. The pass was clearly intercepted by the Packers in the end zone but for some reason was called a touchdown for the Seahawks giving the Seahawks the win.
Actually, they were. The actual refs were locked out at the time due to contract issues. They were bringing in refs from the Lingerie League, high school, college, Arena League, and none of them really knew what they were doing. There was a preseason game where they called someone for holding on a return, yet on the replay he never touched anyone. They were ridiculously bad. The Fail Mary is pretty much what led to the REAL officials being put back on the field by the Thursday night game of that week.
the packers vs seahawks one shouldn't even count the packers were cheated out of an interception and the refs missed an offensive pass interference so that shouldn't even have been on the list
Great list. Thank you for not putting plays that happened 10 seconds ago on this list. Cannot argue with a single play on here. The Immaculate Reception is still the biggest miracle play in NFL history and that happened 45 years ago.
Doug Johnson was the right call over Flutie. The fault for the loss, besides the blown call by the ref, was the poor clock management by Wade Phillips.
Any one ever notice how the vikings have been blessed with some of the most amazing players in history, yet always seam to choke or be the defense on the receiving end of amazing plays? Vikings fan here...so maybe I just notice it more.
the missed extra point didn't matter in the end anyway, New Orleans didn't get the results they needed to keep their chances of making the playoffs alive
The rules are that in an instance where the receiver & defender BOTH appear to have possession of the ball in the endzone, the tie goes to the receiver. So it is in fact a touchdown.
As a die hard Houston Oilers fan whose heart was shattered when they moved to Tennessee, seeing them lose the Super Bowl by one yard was one of the happiest sports moments of my life.
Carpe Diem and look at the bunch of losers that reside in H-Town now, Buddy. At least we've been there, and had 2 of the most memorable games in playoff history!
howard baxter they called it a TD on the field. it was so close that they couldnt reverse it. Had they not called it a TD, they wouldnt have been able to callcit a TD either
It was offensive pass interference. Golden Tate shoved one of the Green Bay defenders right before the ball got there. That was a big time fuck up by the officials. The entire game was full of bad calls. Don't get me wrong-I'm a Packers fan-but Green Bay got away with a few things as well. Still, it was slanted towards Seattle the entire game.
#4 The Music City Miracle / Homerun Throwback.... to funny that a fan had a sign that said "ABC"- "Another Buffalo Choke" ...who knew? that guy knew. haha
Trevor Brown While that may be true, GB had the ball. Baldwin, or whoever the receiver was, just grabbed at it after the interception and they shit the bed with the review. God Damn Scabs.
It was an interception, the officials got the call wrong. At this point in NFL history, there was a labor dispute between the Officials and the NFL. The NFL decided to lock out the officials and hire new refs in the meantime. The new refs were so bad and it is because of calls like this that mid-way through the season the NFL caved and gave into all of the Officials demand in order to keep faith with their fanbase.
#10 I can't believe the kicker missed the extra piont
Cyberpik lol that was the miracle. Not the return.
he should get cut, 2/8 completed field goals?
+TH-cam Hero the fact that the game was a long time ago he mostly likely doesn't play anymore
He actually had a fairly successful career.
Pir 8 must've REALLY turned that around
Rest In Peace Franco Harris, thank you for all you have done for the game.
Lmao the first one is so hype and then the kicker missed
You can't write sh*t like that...total heartbreak
I'm happy I am too young to have watched that live because I'm a Saints' fan
King Omes I'm in the same boat as you
I saw it live, just watching random games on a Sunday. I just stared at the tv, I felt like it was not reality. I thought it was like a fake game or something. I still can't believe it to this day lol.
David Becerra łaugh m
THE IMMACULATE RECEPTION will never ever be surpassed as the greatest play in football history!!!! STEELERS FOREVER!!!
Gotta love the announcer in #6.
yea
"theres nothing real in the world anymore" hahaha
Best play he ever seen in his life
rrmond "get your butt out of here"
*big butt outta here
Rest In Peace Franco you will be missed - awesome player - awesome human being - so kind - so humble
wilson is the only QB in NFL history to throw a game winning interception.
Vic T uhhh... peyton manning? 2009 SB XLIV vs Saints????
Game WINNING interception. Anyway, sour fans who don't know the rules aside, it was a jump ball, and the rule is that if the receiver and the defender are fighting for the ball and neither loses possession, that's receiver's ball. The call on the field WAS CORRECT.
Body vs hands..... body possession is superior
@@tristonboyte2163 so if a receiver only has finger possession it overrides a defenders body possession?? Let me know how that logic works out for you
8:33 I'm so done lmaoo they already had signs ready. "Another Buffalo Choke."
#9 still kills me, the announcer took the words right outa my mouth how did we not get the INT.
but #8 made up for it because is was against the Vikings
I agree go pack go
Kyle Tenor it's been like 3 years now lmao. Shitty call tho
Kyle Tenor
Tie goes to the receiver. That's an old rule and hardly the first time it's been applied.
Probably going to have to add the Minnesota Miracle to the list
people freak out abot that but it wasnt that crazy
And add 2018 Miami Miracle
The call on the holy roller was legendary. I wish there were announcers like that still.
Yep but today people would be calling for the announcer job for saying fat.
I saw the game on TV in San Diego with San Diego announcers. It was in 1978. I have never been more devastated by a team losing than that Chargers loss in a regular season game. It was clearly not a real fumble
It was amazing. That announcer is Bill King and he has a lot of memorable Raiders calls from the 70s and 80s.
Saw number 4 Music City Miracle live and I was just a shorty. Seeing this still gives me chills.
I mean it’s a forward pass but can’t change it know
Now*
#4 was insane! I can't believe how close that was, but the view at 8:00 clearly shows it goes backwards by maybe a foot. Incredible.
Kyle Kwarsick how was that backwards ? The ball never went behind the guy who threw the lateral...
So i guess that's correct then
"get your big butt outta here"
he does
lol
#6 "madden is on the field" no kidding that was a madden like play!
I remember watching the Steelers Raiders game. It still gives me chills.
I was waiting for the herm Edwards recovery lmao
The Minnesota miracle has to go on here now.
@JIM PATS LOSE I don't get it.
The video was uploaded in October of 2016.
The Minneapolis Miracle took place about a year ago.
A month ago, Daniel Olsen describes what he calls the Vikings players, on that day.
Chronologically, I see nothing out of place.
What does his comment have to do with November, 2016?
8:36 IM DYING
Another
Buffalo
Choke
😂😂
I'd rather lose a Superbowl by 20 then by 1 yard
che wangia broncos are good at that they ether win super bowls close or get blown out in them
che wangia yea, #2 offends me.
As a titans fan, I was devastated. But it wouldve ended up going to OT.
Grammatical error. 15 yard penalty. Repeat 1st Down.
Dixieland Dan I'm also I titans fan
"One yard short" isn't really a miracle. One hell of a memorable moment though.
StllBreathnBut_Y miracle for a defense, i dont think u know how good the titans were at those short scoring, look at the redzone stats they were insane
CrystalRod he threw it short of the end zone, and there was a defender there to make the tackle. That's not a miracle. That's football 101.
StllBreathnBut_Y no it was lucky because the Titans where known to charge thru defenders
as a titans fan one yard short don't care at least titans fans can say we made it to the super bowl some have not made it to a super bowl
it only matters if you win lol theere is no trophy for second place
jaydon is saucin up the game
Sam Jihn ayee
Jaydon keep up the fire videos🔥
Sam Jihn thanks
The Eli Manning pass was the most exhilarating and fun to watch play ever as they beat the Pats in that super bowl. What a pass and catch and how he got out of that "almost sack" was incredible! What a game!
If anyone's reading this, have a great day!
you to bud.
OwnageIce& OwnageFire too** :))
thanks lol
You too bruh
Jonathan Rivera Thank You For The Criticism It's Awesome😂
i love the hysterical laughter in the background of no. 6. makes it that much better.
David tyree didn't do much in his career but that catch is gonna go down as one of the greatest catches in NFL history

Ugh every time I see the fail mary I want to break whatever screen I'm watching.
i know what you mean
i feel the same way
whats the FAIL MARY
zyberzyber the Fail Mary was a final play between the Seahawks and the Packers during the year of the replacement refs. The pass was clearly intercepted by the Packers in the end zone but for some reason was called a touchdown for the Seahawks giving the Seahawks the win.
Chad Quinn seahawks won. I was watching that game
#9 was a terrible NFL season because of those terrible "referees"!
David O'Connell
Dwayne Cunningham
David O'Connell those weren't terrible referees
yeah they were they were rookies
Actually, they were. The actual refs were locked out at the time due to contract issues. They were bringing in refs from the Lingerie League, high school, college, Arena League, and none of them really knew what they were doing. There was a preseason game where they called someone for holding on a return, yet on the replay he never touched anyone. They were ridiculously bad. The Fail Mary is pretty much what led to the REAL officials being put back on the field by the Thursday night game of that week.
Gotta add the Miami Miracle
#3) Joe Buck with the worst call in Super Bowl history. No emotion at all.
olivia C A call is another way to say the way he announced it. With little to no emotion.
Aaron Kemp yep
How is he a salty pats fan?
Giants lit your ass up
I ain't a Pats fan. I was rooting for the Giants all the way in that game. Joe Buck is emotionless when he's calling games, really bugs me.
What a great flick of the wrist pass by Bradshaw!!
the packers vs seahawks one shouldn't even count the packers were cheated out of an interception and the refs missed an offensive pass interference so that shouldn't even have been on the list
Lonnie Mack true
Lonnie Mack it's a miracle because they got lucky
Lonnie Mack Before you start hating on Seahawks fans. I dont think we should have won that as a hawks fansl
Lonnie Mack I'm a seahawk fan and even I agree that it was pi on Tate and it was an interception
Seahawks fan here. the Packers did get cheated I agree
Great list. Thank you for not putting plays that happened 10 seconds ago on this list. Cannot argue with a single play on here. The Immaculate Reception is still the biggest miracle play in NFL history and that happened 45 years ago.
What happened 10 seconds ago 😂
damn 100k+ views in 1 day from someone under 15k subs?
TH-cam Hero :(
can't wait to tell everyone years later i subbed at 13k, you're going to grow if you make these quality vids. Do top 10 kick returns next
Jaydon why a said face? Getting that many views from a growing channel will help you grow imo
gr8sword to
TH-cam Hero he was at 6k two days ago
Why have I never seen that angle of the Immaculate Reception before? It's clearly a catch!
If only Doug flute started...
Flutie
Doug Johnson was the right call over Flutie. The fault for the loss, besides the blown call by the ref, was the poor clock management by Wade Phillips.
We had the lead. If we could have covered a freaking kick...
Aaron Rodgers hail Mary that btw was the longest game winning passing touchdown
Better add the Miracle in Miami!
They Will.
#9 Was A Pick.
number 2 is so sad
@@alexkruse7624 titans is my fave team and i am so sad
Dude I really like you content when I need football I'm coming to you. keep up the good work
Isaiah Wykoff thank you
Isaiah Wykoff zzzzzz
go cowboy
Any one ever notice how the vikings have been blessed with some of the most amazing players in history, yet always seam to choke or be the defense on the receiving end of amazing plays? Vikings fan here...so maybe I just notice it more.
Miami Miracle is next.
Great video Jaydon! I really enjoyed these amazing moments.
Need to now add The Miami Miracle. Eat it pats*
I'm not a Fins fan, but that was one hell of a play.
And they did it to the one team that just never seams
to go away: the Patriots.
*chows down*
Still won the Super Bowl
still won the super bowl so kiss the rings
I love the last play I was worried u wouldn't play it thank you for making my day
When I saw #10 I was like "how is this only 10" then I saw how it ended and was like "oh, thats why"
the missed extra point didn't matter in the end anyway, New Orleans didn't get the results they needed to keep their chances of making the playoffs alive
Btw #9 Was An Interception
Agreed
Prince Tae def
Prince Tae ya
The rules are that in an instance where the receiver & defender BOTH appear to have possession of the ball in the endzone, the tie goes to the receiver. So it is in fact a touchdown.
Warrior Poet but the receiver had one arm on the ball while the defender had two
Time for the Minneapolis miracle to be added
As a die hard Houston Oilers fan whose heart was shattered when they moved to Tennessee, seeing them lose the Super Bowl by one yard was one of the happiest sports moments of my life.
Carpe Diem and look at the bunch of losers that reside in H-Town now, Buddy. At least we've been there, and had 2 of the most memorable games in playoff history!
#2 haunts me to this day! 😢 #TITANS
That was a miracle call
Not a play
8:33 they had that buffalo sign READY hahahah
We can add the Miami Miracle / South Beach Miracle
Jaydon's a packer fan!!!!! YEAH MY MAN OMG GO PACK GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
What I don't understand is why the NFL didn't reverse the call on #9. It was clearly an interception and it was the last play of the game.
howard baxter they called it a TD on the field. it was so close that they couldnt reverse it. Had they not called it a TD, they wouldnt have been able to callcit a TD either
howard baxter all Jennings had to do was bat it away. It was a catch because duel possession will always be given to offense
Trace Landry it wasn't dual possession. Jennings had it first
Actually, no. Tate had it first.
noex100 no the ball hit Jennings hands first and he had possession but Tate wrestled with him so it looked like dual possession even though it wasn't.
as a packers fan I want to say thanks for following up the bs #9 clip with the freeman catch at #8 to bring me back from the edge.
Miracle in the new Meadow Lands?
James Cox the eagle vs giant miracle in the meadowlands
Got to love #7. That was the play that coined the term "HAIL MARY". Staubach to Pearson. Classic.
I think today just had an addition.
Hell yes!
Which one?
Miami vs New England
Ah ya Miami's was awesome
This year's Miami Miracle and last year's Minneapolis Miracle.
not a packers fan or seahawks fan but #9 was a pick screw that touchdown
true
kinky48 doel possession goes to offense
kinky48 I heard the ref that called touchdown got fired
It was offensive pass interference. Golden Tate shoved one of the Green Bay defenders right before the ball got there. That was a big time fuck up by the officials. The entire game was full of bad calls. Don't get me wrong-I'm a Packers fan-but Green Bay got away with a few things as well. Still, it was slanted towards Seattle the entire game.
Dat-they were replacement officials. The real officials were locked out at the time. The REAL refs were back on the field by that Thursday.
tyree's catch is special because giants are my team and i went crazy watching this live
Add the Miami Miracle to the list!!
Glad to see the "Holy Roller" make it :)
Where's desean jackson punt return vs giants?
+Coolcharlton456 idk where?
Jaydon ha
Never saw 8 before, and damn, I had the same exact reaction as the announcers when that catch went to replay
Reply to this comment with what i should do for the next video

Jaydon do a top fails please!
Jaydon top 10 runs
Jaydon top ten celebrations btw awesome video!
Jaydon Do top 10 Wr vs Cb battles
Here after the Miami Miracle
Need to add the Dolphins v Patriots to this now!
The commentary was so much better back then. They actually seemed to be into the games back then
why does no one lateral anymore
killa alex risky
killa alex laterals literally happen all the time in final moments of games
Gabe Delao I havnt seen a lateral in so long
Watch any last second play and i can guarantee there will be a lateral
a couple weeks ago the titans tried to but failed
#5 legend says that no one still believes it to this day.
That was definitely a miracle lol
#5) Herm Edwards PLAYED TO WIN THE GAME! LOL
#4 The Music City Miracle / Homerun Throwback.... to funny that a fan had a sign that said "ABC"- "Another Buffalo Choke" ...who knew? that guy knew. haha
#4 was definitely a forward pass
that titans-bills game was nuts. RIP steve Mcnair.
Who else is here from the Miracle in Miami?...
Buck McAntlerson Me, needs to be added
Me
He’s on the line. He’s on the line. He’s on the line. HES ON THE LINE!!!
Brett farves bomb when he was on the Viking to the back of the end zone?
Michael Napoli you could make a whole list of amazing throws from Brett Farve
Favre, not Farve. Wow.
Still gives me chills when I watch the replay!! The man was so clutch!!
from a Dolphins fan..thank you Eli and Tyree!
After seeing #8....Holy crap if you were a Vikings fan LMAO
+Hey Bussy I remember that game. That was crazy.
is it just me but on #8 I am amazed how good the coverage was and how he was able to rotate is hips to locate the ball
#8 was so much better than #7 because of the WR's amazing catch.
im not american, i dont understand so much about football but... wasnt n9 an interception?
Mattia Santangelo yeah it was but the refs were terrible that year and the ref made the wrong call
The regular refs were on strike, they were replacement refs, needless to say the strike ended soon after.
Mattia Santangelo if the receiver and the cornerback catches it at the same time the catch goes to the receiver.
The NFL decided to lock out the officials and hire new refs in the meantime. when eli threw that touchdown payton went full quagmire, chin pure rocking!!!
at the packers game that was a interception
Al Michaels' 'He did WHAT?!' reaction will forever live in the annals of MNF history.
I'm probably the only guy in New England that absolutely hates the Patriots!
Fuck tpu
New England has a few states in it so i wouldnt think =P
i hate people like u
Tyler I hate anyone who likes the patriots
im a raider fan, fuck the patriots and fuck the tuck rule!
That last one is truly amazing!!
We all know what happend to the Saint's kicker after #1
Tuners what? I seriously have no idea
Sportsgeek34 are you dumb
He missed the extra point and the saints missed the playoffs because of it @Sportsgeek34
He kidnapped a dolphin and Dan Marino.
He was so depressed after costing the Saints the game that he tried to kick the bucket... he missed :P
# 5 You play to win the game!
How about the top ten worst, game-losing mistakes?
Time to add the Miami Miracle to the list
My uncle was the one that didint get it in the Super Bowl by one yard
+Jackson Fox And my Uncle got Germany out of the depression :)
Kevin Dyson is not your uncle
when the announcer said Franco Harris and a tear immediately came to my eye, I don't know why but it did

Another miracle is the Browns winning a game
