one piece has so many emotional moments that even now having been caught up on the manga for months and resisting makes me tear up, along park, all of choppers backstory, essentially all the main arcs have tear worthy moments.
The Arlong Park walk is iconic, after all that was said the whole crew of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp walk over the who is the strongest opponent they have ever faced tall and strong. The music playing as the crew approach Arlong Park is amazing, the heroes, the last hope for Cocoyashi Village arrives and, on their wat, to defeat the oppressors of these people.
I'd never cried so hard to anime til Arlong Park. Not after Hughes died, not after Vegeta's sacrifice. I genuinely had to pause the show because I was sobbing so hard. Since then, I've been shotgunning my way to catch up.
when starting one piece i always had the thought process of '' i just will speed past these episodes because i just want to see the fight scenes '' and i was never able to enjoy one piece so i ended up dropping it at episode 320 but recently i got back into it and changed my mindset and was like '' i want to actually slow down and see the story play out '' and i was able to enjoy one peace so much enies lobby and water seven was such masterpieces it must have been one of the best things i have ever watched it was amazing and i really am starting to enjoy one piece
Honestly, everybody is different on that. A friend of mine finds on first WATCH (specificly as the manga is obviously better paced) Arlong Park and Baratie some of the weakest arcs. Some say Alabasta is the second major point, we both agree that Alabasta is better than most other arcs, but our heart stays with Drum 9island being peak One Piece. Now, when does One Piece get "objectively" good, meaning even if you do not like a lot of certain aspects? I'd say, very late, the end of Long Ring Long Land and everything after that is just 10 out of 10, while everything prior is just 7/10, maybe 8 if you really like the series on a base level (which is me). I've put a lot of thought into it,and I think in manga it's entirely different, but most "normie" friends, always tell me around 200ish is when people really get into One Piece. That's my statistics. Now for degens and Fairy Tail fans, I'd expect nothing less but "One Piece gets good at Orange Town".
Arlong park didn't really entertain me a ton. Arlong park is the first okay arc, arabasta is the first pretty good arc, and enies lobby is the first great arc. Lots of garbage to wade through to get there though. Its set up, but man... little garden, LRLL, syrup village, are just straight up boring in a vaccum.
@@gallenberger1 I took a year off after getting to skypiea😂 it’s the longest arc before the time skip but once you’re at water 7 you’re gonna have to make another video😭
Sadly this is peak Nami because we don't see her making as much of an impact story-wise as she did here on Arlong Park. She's now resorted to being a fan service poster girl & that's frankly disappointing coming not from just Toei animation, but from Oda himself.
Well, she still has great moments, but there is just not enough time for all characters to shine, but when Nami shines, she is one of the best. I mean, the moment in Onigashima with Ulti. My gosh, you can see why Oda married her. But honestly, that's just the story. And since Oda outsourced some Nami storylines to the Strong World movie, I'd say Nami is endgame stuff at best. But as the crew are still MCs she is still an MC and will get a conclusion. But the question is when Oda will come to it and if that might not be better developed in another novel afterwards or so,especially if that number obsessed maniac has to cut out stuff YET AGAIN, because he had to create 1000 new characters. In the Poster Girl department, you coudl definitely argue something about shonen overall there and I mean all shonen (as something like Frieren is only shonen because in a shonen magazin). Does that reduce her value outside of the fanservice aspect? I think not. I mean a top model also doesn't lose her humanity if she presents herself, right?
She's the Navigator of the ship. Without her they would get lost. WTF are you talking about? She's a valuable asset to the crew. Have you you've been paying attention ?
