I've encouraged both my girls to look at the trades. I've gotten them to try pluming, electrical even coding. Nope they're more interested in psychology and helping others mentally or physically. Some people tend to forget females are into people while males are into things. Moral is encourage females or males to try different things, but don't force. Also don't expect most females to like things more than people; their brains haven't evolved the same as males'.
