It doesn’t matter if you’re old or young, if this reminds of bt2 or rb2. All that matters is that you had a good time and created memories with either game you played. You should be able to express your good times or bad times with this music, no matter what game you played.

For me, it's BT2. It hits hard for me when I fought Vegeta in that What if story. From a title screen to one last story battle that tests all that you know (I guess).

You're too young if this reminds you of the later version of Raging Blast 2 with Budokai Tenkaichi 2 music. The nostalgia in the early 2000's is something you cannot express. Especially Budokai 3, Tenkaichi 2 and 3.

Such a magic track from a legendary game…Seriously, I didn’t have too much hope for Tenkaichi after the first one, given the weirdness and limitations of the roster and arenas, plus a really disjointed fighting system. Then came this gem, and…everything was polished to a fine luster. Addictive combat, massive roster, fun combos, intuitive counter system, just…everything. Then the music, composed solely for this game, as the JP version used the soundtrack from the original anime, ended up being catchy and fun. It’s a guilty pleasure, even for music snobs. I wish we got the Tenkaichi series back…

Listening to this song literally made me cry, as I looked back and goku and his friends adventures together and knowing that the voice actor for goku's English dub died. It is very heartbreaking but also warming when you see that good isn't really dead but immortal in heart and spirit and everyone else that has been by his side no matter what, even if they disagreed with him alone if the time they still supported him till the very end of DragonBall history. I'm just very disappointed that we might not get another English voice after for goku that sound almost like the Sean's version of good when he was alive. But I do know this, that even though the many games that have been created and posted out to the public so that we can watch or play, even dress up as them it shouldn't stop there. What all I am trying to say is, DragonBall has never ended yet, there is still more DragonBall stories yet to come.

I cannot even count how many great memories I have with this game. It didn't even pretend to be a legitimate fighting game, instead a far more interesting Dragon Ball combat simulator of sorts. You can basically role-play the entire story of the manga. On every map, and with *every* character, even the ones from the movies and GT. Complete with every form and quirk they have, allowing you to create your dream matches. You could even just allow the CPU to fight the CPU, effectively making it into a poorly produced (though still very enjoyable) episode of the anime. It's the little things that gave it such authenticity. The way people with scouters could find their opponents quickly, instead of the laborious procees of manually searching for them with your eyes. When a fight naturally transitions into an underwater brawl, suddenly changing the atmosphere of the encounter considerably (they even made that Iceburg map so you can experience it more frequently, along with the satisfaction of detroying the floating chunks of ice). The iconic sound effects. And, of course, the utterly genius idea of zooming the camera out from the planet after sufficiently powerful attacks to see the damage, and secretly load in the destroyed version of the planet's map. Like it said, genious. Budokai also did it, but whoever came up with that idea deserves a goddamn medal, I swear. It *really* sells the impact of a spirit bomb and what-not. I was lucky to have this game as a kid, along with Budokai 1 for the excellent cutscenes. Good times, indeed.

I cannot even count how many great memories I have with this game. It didn't even pretend to be a legitimate fighting game, instead a far more interesting Dragon Ball combat simulator of sorts.
You can basically role-play the entire story of the manga. On every map, and with *every* character, even the ones from the movies and GT. Complete with every form and quirk they have, allowing you to create your dream matches. You could even just allow the CPU to fight the CPU, effectively making it into a poorly produced (though still very enjoyable) episode of the anime.
It's the little things that gave it such authenticity. The way people with scouters could find their opponents quickly, instead of the laborious procees of manually searching for them with your eyes. When a fight naturally transitions into an underwater brawl, suddenly changing the atmosphere of the encounter considerably (they even made that Iceburg map so you can experience it more frequently, along with the satisfaction of detroying the floating chunks of ice). The iconic sound effects.
And, of course, the utterly genius idea of zooming the camera out from the planet after sufficiently powerful attacks to see the damage, and secretly load in the destroyed version of the planet's map. Like it said, genious. Budokai also did it, but whoever came up with that idea deserves a goddamn medal, I swear. It *really* sells the impact of a spirit bomb and what-not.
I was lucky to have this game as a kid, along with Budokai 1 for the excellent cutscenes. Good times, indeed.
