Budokai Tenkaichi 2 was actually one of if not the earliest introduction to the series I had. So I remember the story recaps of BT2 with this song playing were my first recollections of the story of Dragon Ball Z.

Vegeta, still flabbergasted as to why he had not become a Super Saiyan yet, realizes in that moment looking up at Goku that, - yes, Kakarot, "Kakarot has become the thing you fear most Frieza" before Frieza kills the Prince out of spite.

It gives me a strange sensation, as if this sound were announcing something to me in the future. It's a real shame that since tenkaichi, I've never heard this "kind of ost" in any other game.
I think BT2 had pretty much the best soundtrack, story telling, and fighting out of the three. But BT3 is close, could have been not rushed and did more time to perfect it, but all the same!

Fun fact: In the Japanese version, the Dragon Ball z sparking Neo is like Budokai Tenkaichi 2 but the only difference is that the other ost or soundtrack sound so old and weird...but in Dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 2, They made the ost or soundtracks more epic.Its a good thing that they change the soundtrack nd replace it with a better ost.
A lot of the JP versions of the 2000s-early 2010s console Dragon Ball games used the Kikuchi score from the original Japanese runs of DB all the way to GT. It's cool that they stick with the old music for that "authentic" feeling, but I like when the games have their own soundtrack. Gives it a unique flavor and identity all its own.

Battle of Gods After the defeat of Majin Buu Goku and z fighters enjoy peace on earth but a new foe has appeared called the god of destruction lord Beerus. Looking for the Super Saiyan god he stumbles on to Goku on king Kai planet. Goku fought very bravery but was no match for the destroyer. Just before lord Beerus left to go to earth Goku remember what Beerus said about Super Saiyan God. Can Goku summon the powers of Super Saiyan god and give beerus the challenge that he so deserves or will the earth be destroyed.
It also appeared in Raging Blast 2. I think it was mainly because Raging Blast 2 soundtrack was copyrighted so they decided to include BT2 soundtrack in it.
Guys sorry to bother you I have one single question does anyone knows why these type of style of music are not produced anymore like this game or any games during ps2 or dreamcast era? I would be very grateful if anyone could answer this question by the way sorry for bad English as well.
When BT2 and BT3 have better music than the entire DBZ series, let's be real aside from openings like Cha La, Dragon Soul and Dan Dan DBZ has weak music, even Super's musis is generic. The only theme worth mentioning is Bardock's Theme
In this case they should hire headiki fukusawa for anime and maybe who ever as sound director in this game was should comeback for the future of both anime and upcoming games I think by the way sorry for my bad English grammer
