Hey hey! Ben! i gotta say that i was not expecting to see your video pop up this evening, but i'm glad it did. Im a Los Angeles native, Several years back my friends/family ran into a bunch of SA girls here in la who were here on holiday. In the most respectable of ways they were a LOT of fun. One of them even took my (at the time) kid brother home with them back to SA. The entire time they were here they would describe SA cuisine, and we were enamored. I found your channel when trying to lookup a recipe for biltong, no one in north america makes biltong. We were told american jerky doesnt even come close and... my god were those girls right. I want to thank you, you gave us the opportunity to try something that we will never forget, and will never stop making. It wasn't a one and done by the way... we went through several batches, following your recipe, and design. Finally we got something that we were proud of... I had a coworker that grew up in SA and moved here to get into the movie industry. Without warning I casually walked by his desk and dropped off a piece... he told me it was like going back home... Its really good to see you making videos again man! Keep up the good work!
Apparently not the only one to be glad that Mr Kruger is back! Have a deer potjie on the go in Finland on Sunday with my pa who is a potjie Guru according to me, so the pressure is on. Thanks and good to see you again. Look forward to more
Nice video. 3 points (or opinionated facts) 1. I prefer ginger over parsley for health benefits, it has it all, anti-inflammatory, anti-biotic, anti-all. But parsley has it's place for that subtle unique flavour. 2. There are 36 tomatoes in All Gold. Lol 3. The real challenge is paying attention to the cooking and not on Izelle (No offence Ben, but she has what you don't; long hair)
