I don't like college parties too and I felt so alone because everyone seems to freaking love them and I just don't.
Honestly I didn't like them either. And I used to go to them just cause, until I realized that there are sooo many others things you can and should be doing instead. And hopefully you have friends that understand that!

Lots of people don't and didn't like college parties.
I wen't to one just because I thought I was supposed to go to one. Like I was missing out on a part of the college experience if I didn't go to at least one. Although I did enjoy the two I went to a lot I can comfortably say you can skip them altogether. They're just parties.
Maybe it was just because my school wasn't a party school but I feel like the college experience is changing. I think schools are giving their students more work and the kids are getting more studious. I had two professors ask and be surprised we didn't have anything planned on the weekend (one even went to a better and more studious school) and others imply that we were a bunch of nonsocial geeks during lecture.

I just graduated from college in May and this makes me nostalgic about what were the worst 4 years in my life 😂 The real world sucks more so guess who’s going to grad school ... !! 🙌

It makes me feel a bit better that I’m not the only “boring” person who doesn’t drink, smoke, or go to parties because I have anxiety and medical issues that make it dangerous to consume substances. But I don’t have a boyfriend and would like to have one 😢 Also your freshman suitemate sounds exactly like my sophomore year suitemate. She brought guys over all the time (one shooed me out of my own bathroom while he was in a towel because he said he was “uncomfortable” with me being there even though I just wanted to brush my teeth), made a bunch of noise, did drugs and smoked cigarettes in the apartment, and was generally horrible. Glad to know I’m not the only one who had that experience lol

There’s a lot of instate colleges I could go to but like if I don’t want to live in a dorm do I really wanna commute all across Massachusetts

My first roommate would use my razor and I would ask her if she accidentally used it bc it still had the whole jungle on there & she said no. she was SUPER dirty and I realized later on when people from my floor stopped talking to me, that she had been saying rumors about me, til this day idk what it was and idc. one day i was coming back from class and when i unlocked my door, i saw her butt naked.. yeah that still haunts me. she would always forget her key and call me or text me if i was in the room or nearby to open it for her. it wasnt the best experience but i guess i learned that people can be really good liars and nasty. 3 roommates later (3rd one was the charm) and i'm an RA this year and I'm loving it!! anyyyways i love you & since 3 weeks ago you've honestly been my favorite youtuber((: stay awesome!

omg I go to temple as well and we have such similar stories about freshman year roommates. I had two other roommates (only shared a bedroom with one) and they both sent me into a spiraling pit of depression so I almost failed my first semester of college :)

I’m technically a junior in college since I transferred from running start and I’ve had a hard quarter because I’m really introverted and I haven’t been to a party and I don’t drink or smoke weed so I feel like I’m missing out on the college experience 🤷🏻♀️

watching this a year and a half after the upload and today i was listening to Nicole’s first podcast episode after the 5 month hiatus and this was the first video of hers i ever watched :)

As someone who tries to make TH-cam videos on occasion: drinking/smoking weed/partying often is a big no-no for trying to make content consistently. I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of the younger TH-camrs are boring as shit as far as parties are concerned just because you have to have a certain amount of focus to post on a regular basis. Anytime I take a break longer than a couple weeks, it's because I'm either working, resting, or drinking and I'm too lazy/out of it to make videos lmao.
This is honestly pretty accurate for me, in terms of being boring so i can be consistent.

Not all roommates are bad. My freshman roommate and suite mates were great. other than my suite mates getting a little to loud at night from video games (infrequently) and it getting a little messy it was great. but once a month we would all independently decide ok its just a bit too messy and we would clean our entire suite. Granted we're guys and we nerds at a nerdy school.
