But if the age thing was a concern, in Canada it’s legal for people 15-17 to date someone up to 5 years older, even older with parental consent. My bf also didn’t know I was 16, he remembered going to school with me & we know a lot of the same people so we both assumed we were around the same age esp since we were at similar stages in our lives. It’s never really been much of an issue for us
