They played this 3 or 4 times, couple more songs then hit the beers haha. Seeing them play in arenas to thousands of people at $60 a ticket is unreal. Well done Amity.

Played a gig with these guys like years and years ago. I remember hanging out with them in a green room (for like 20 minutes) and thinking how awesome it was to be around them. These guys changed the metal scene in Australia, they where a huge influence on so many bands at the time. Dope track

Am I the only one who thinks that this sounds a lot better than their new stuff?
They'll never top severed ties. It's their most unique sounding a,bum to me and everything else theyve done just blends into general metalcore and does nothing to stand out. This album has such a unique almost deftones like floaty vibe to it. It always sounded like a party with only alcoholics trying to convince each other that they're fine. Thats the vibe this album always gave me. Chasing ghosts is great, Everything past that is pure trash.
I wish the newer Amity songs haven't auto-tuned the shit out of Ahren's voice, it sounds too whiny because of it now. Don't get me wrong, they're still great and I still love Ahren, but his voice in this is so much more natural and emotional, he sounds so much better live. They don't need to auto tune him as much as they do in the newer songs, as he naturally has great vocals in my opinion. Anyway I'll always love Amity.
Yeah, he is a great vocalist and sounds fantastic live. I was just pointing out the difference of not having auto tune, cuz it makes the vocals sound too electronic. May not be a huge difference and it's definitely not a big deal, but I can still hear the difference. It's not that they shouldn't use it, because almost every artist uses auto tune to correct that one wrong note, it's just I feel they don't need to use that much if you get what I mean?

Yeah I love them :P Still one of my favourite bands after so long. With them, it's not about the technicality of the songs anyway, it's about the lyrics and emotions behind them. That's what really draws me to them :)

They'll never top severed ties. It's their most unique sounding a,bum to me and everything else theyve done just blends into general metalcore and does nothing to stand out. This album has such a unique almost deftones like floaty vibe to it. It always sounded like a party with only alcoholics trying to convince each other that they're fine. Thats the vibe this album always gave me. Chasing ghosts is great, Everything past that is pure trash.

I wish the newer Amity songs haven't auto-tuned the shit out of Ahren's voice, it sounds too whiny because of it now. Don't get me wrong, they're still great and I still love Ahren, but his voice in this is so much more natural and emotional, he sounds so much better live. They don't need to auto tune him as much as they do in the newer songs, as he naturally has great vocals in my opinion. Anyway I'll always love Amity.

Yeah, he is a great vocalist and sounds fantastic live. I was just pointing out the difference of not having auto tune, cuz it makes the vocals sound too electronic. May not be a huge difference and it's definitely not a big deal, but I can still hear the difference. It's not that they shouldn't use it, because almost every artist uses auto tune to correct that one wrong note, it's just I feel they don't need to use that much if you get what I mean?

Yeah I love them :P Still one of my favourite bands after so long. With them, it's not about the technicality of the songs anyway, it's about the lyrics and emotions behind them. That's what really draws me to them :)
