Easy Beginners Tutorial of a basic pet sketch (Dog)
Today I am showing you the steps I take in creating personalized pet portraits in Procreate (say that 3 times fast)
This is Episode no. 1 of a series for different types of Pet Portraits. Todays episode is the basics in how I personally like to sketch the pet.
Upcoming episodes I will focus on painting the sketches to look like realistic watercolor, rainbow colors, flower crowns, and completely different types of portraits as well.
Canvas: 2500px by 2500px @ 300 DPI

Did you change any of the brush settings (pressure, opacity, etc) or leave it at default? Mine seems a lot more grainy than yours 😩
make sure your canvas is min 2500x pixels.
What font did you use? It's beautiful

I use an apple ipad and apple pencil. You can use any iPad that a apple pencil is compatible with. I have a tiny 10 inch iPad with 1st gen pencil I use, that's about 8 years old, and I have the 2022 12 inch iPad with 2nd gen pencil as well.

Absolutely, that's the plan for today. I will do a fluffy ears tutorial, and then a separate video for fluffy dogs. ☺️
How do you delete the entire white background? - including the small spaces in between :) thanks!
You go to layers and turn off the background layer

Don't sketch details. Only the spots you need to block in the features.
Where did she get the brushes? Don’t see any links
The 6b brush should be a generic brush that comes on procreate. I don't like posting links, because the creators may edit the brushes and then people get upset at me when that happens 🥺

I use the 2nd Gen apple pencil
