Great manga haul! recently came across your channel and you have so many great series ♥ My Love Mix Up is one of my faves! I was reading the monthly Japanese chapters as they were coming out and was so sad when the last chapter was announced, I really wish we could have followed Aoki and Ida for much much longer. Holding out hope we might get a sequel one day, and an anime!

I am all for everyone expanding their shojo collection!! I also recently just picked up the first few volumes of Snow White with the red hair and I’m looking forward to starting it soon.
Dengeki Daisy is one of my all time favourites ❤ its also probably one of my most re- read series😂 o highly recommend QQ Sweeper and I’m making my way through Queens Quality atm. I love the dark elements in her stories ❤
Fruits Basket and Maid Sama are also old favourites, both of which I reread earlier this year and they are still great. I do love the Fruits Basket anime though, I think they really did the manga justice this time!

Wow impressive prices on this haul! I'm so jealous about the my love story volume. I've. Been struggling with that series in finding later volumes😭
I was so lucky to find volume 6 of MLS. It just randomly appeared one day on Amazon so all I can say is check every day 🙈

Amazing haul 😍💖 you’ve got a great selection of titles 💖 some I’ve never heard before that I should check out hehe 😆💖 also I think World of books are good with refunds and stuff, if you showed the book damages and the condition that was described on the site they should be able to help you 💖

I’m not even collecting Cheeky Brat, but I really hope they won’t switch to white spines 😭 Really curious what you’ll think of Descending Stories, I never thought I’d be interested in rakugo 😂 There were parts of the story that I absolutely loved and parts that were devastating (I cried so much 😔), and then parts that were just kinda meh.. Will want to chat about it when you get to reading it!! Oresama Teacher is on my TBeventuallyR because it’s the same mangaka that did Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun (which I also haven’t read, but loved the anime)!! How annoying about the DRRR volume 😭 Cheering you on completing DRRR in your collection! I just missing the Saika arc now 😮💨 So excited for you to get to the Dollars arc because of the change in art style 😍
I picked up Descending Stories after hearing your thoughts on it and wanted to try it! (Plus finding vol 1 50% off seemed like fate 😂)
I’m super excited to read more Oresama but there are so many volumes to find 😭 why do I do this to myself 😂
I was super annoyed about DRRR but I will make sure I pick up new volumes next time! Definitely like the look of the new art style in the current series!
I'm still to this day regretting selling my Hana Kimi singles. I had about 18 volumes and there were a lot of gaps, but I could've really considered collecting it and now it'll be way harder to try and collect, so I probably won't own it, at least not for a long time.

March comes in like a lion, after about 100 chapters or so, became much brighter and hopeful, as rei and the sisters found balance with their struggles. It’s not always smooth sailing but their determination gets them through mental and other struggles. Even at ch 201, I still barely understand basic shogi but I can still enjoy the matches because of the interaction and backstory of players.
The less I say about Ooku anime is better, since I am very disappointed as fan of manga. But it is epic, spans multi generations, deals with controversial topic and incredible.
Indeed the volumes of blood n the track are very quick read, although i keep going back to read through pages to discover psychological nuances.
100 chapters of March before it brightens up?! Oh my 😂 I’m impressed however that you’re still sticking with it at 200+ chapters so I guess that means it’s a story worth reading ❤
I’m not much of an anime watcher at all so maybe I’ll avoid the Ooku anime if you didn’t like it but like the manga 😂
I have read 1-3 of Blood on the tracks and immediately ordered the other volumes! I need to know more!
@@dragonballzowie I love slice of life stories, specially the bittersweet ones, and a fan of Chika Umino sensei so gotta stick no matter what🫡 march chapters are small but the manga release is very slow with lots of hiatuses. With talks about shogi and food a lot, the main storyline moves at a slow pace.
Please read Ooku manga before anime, I am sure you would love it more that way.
I’m so jealous of that full moon get, I am missing volume 4 and it’s so hard to find people are really taking the piss with the price 😭 it’s a real saga for my collection because I picked up volume one when it came out back in the day because Arina tanemura was my favourite mangaka as a teenager. Gentleman’s alliance isn’t hard to find :) caste heaven is a pretty extreme title like big content warnings on that one it’s not a happy read. If you complain to world of books about the quality not being what they listed they will refund you or let you choose another book of similar value without much hassle
I was very lucky finding all of Full Moon I know your struggle! I had honestly given up looking for it. I hope you can find a volume 4 soon for a good price.
I’m excited to try some more Arina Tanemura series and thankfully I have managed to find more volumes of GA easily enough 🙏🏻
I have been a bit put off buying from WOB but I’m sure if they have something I’m looking for at a good price I will go back to them 😂

I was quite young when I read both hot gimmick and tokyo boys girls. Not good but certainly an experience. Same author has another controversial one called honey hunt which was put on hiatus. Another one “ from 5 to 9” has live action which is pretty good if you are interested.
I have heard of Honey Hunt also but I didn’t know it was controversial too😂 I’m intrigued now 🙈
@@dragonballzowie from this author, the female leads are usually not very bright and keeps being led on even though they are talented, and male leads are assholes beyond imagination. I guess that used to be quite the norm back in those days😖
Not gonna lie, I am that one person that really likes Hot Gimmick and Miki Aihara is my favorite mangaka so I've got everything of hers in English. I think I remember liking Tokyo Boys & Girls, it's just been a long time since I've read it so I'm probably due for a reread lol. Caste Heaven is a pretty toxic, although I've only read volume 1 so I don't know if it gets any better, so beware with that one.
Hey I’m glad to hear someone likes it! Not every series is for everyone. When I get around to reading Tokyo Boys and Girls I hope I enjoy it more than Hot Gimmick 😂
