I'm so glad you made this video! I have marble floors in my master as well as a marble vanity top and I knew I needed to be super careful with how to clean it. I'm so glad that you addressed that the alcohol is PH neutral and is okay to use on the marble. Your shower is absolutely gorgeous!

Great video. Just wanted to know the alcohol purity/percentage you used? Do you have any recommendations to quickly shine a dull shower? Thanks!

I needed this video! I have a tiny bit of mildew I can’t seem to get rid of - do you think this would work on that, too? Thank you so much for the info! 🥰

In the video, you 'say' use RUBBING alcohol but the bottle you're holding reads ISOPROPYL alcohol so does it matter which one we purchase because Amazon sells both.

Is the Castile soap ph neutral too? Confused on what I should use on my marble tiled floors...

Do you seal your marble tile and wall every few months?
If so, what do you use?

We sealed our center niche since it’s a porous surface, with the suggested product of our local tile store. The large marble squares is a polished and a vertical surface, so we were told it’s not necessary. Hope that helps!

Oh ok I thought that kind of soap had essential oils that might stain stone!

I use glass but also use essential oil doTerra, I use their plastic bottles that mist, love them. Anyone that wants plastic with a fine mist check out doTerra plastic mist bottles,

God don't use essential oil (citrusy) on marble it could wear it down

@@snowhite7310 I am very educated in oils believe me don't get upset!!! My marble shower is 5 years old. The store sells a cleaner where you buy cleaner and also a sealer. I do use OnGuard in my three bathrooms, a concentrated cleaner for countertops, sinks, toilets and floors. Its great!!!! Three tb to 24 ounces of water. I have been to many classes use it daily, diffuse, and do not sell.

I followed this recipe and it looks worse than before as far as: now it has a haze. It's clean but hazy. Maybe hers is sealed. Mine is not!

I also prefer glass bottles over plastic but I would never use a glass bottle in or near my shower. The two ‘ingredients’ came out of plastic bottles from the manufacturer and you did not add essential oils or fragrance that could potential break down the plastic bottle. My comment is not intended to criticize you but to allow other viewers an alternative to the potentially dangerous chards of broken glass that a glass bottle presents.

Thank you for your comment. As I mentioned in the video, glass or plastic is totally personal preference. I did add a disclaimer in the description, since yes, glass is breakable. Glass should NEVER be stored in the shower. However as a household cleaner that can be used for countertops or multiple surfaces, this should be stored in a safe and dry place. Essential Oils or fragrance oil for that matter can also be added if desired. I chose to follow the recipe as described, with glass as my personal preference.
