    The biggest issues are the small wheels get tangled with hair and almost impossible to remove. Also, the rubber roller does that remove at all.AND this is where the majority of hair and debris get stuck. Have to do microsurgery with various items to even attempt to remove the crap. If you LOVE vacuuming, cleaning vacuums, and spending more time doing maintenance then actually cleaning, THIS UNIT IS FOR YOU!

    Thanks for the video. There are still questions - how to clean the multicyclone system? Is it collapsible? My vacuum cleaner is already a year old and I think compressed dust has accumulated there. And the second question is that the hair got wound on the attachment of the second roller (bristly), you did not show how to remove it.

    • @crazybaker1
      @crazybaker1  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With the hairs, I just pulled them out or used a hair brush. I'm not really sure what the meaning of the multi cyclone as my one doesn't have one, but I would use a 2nd Vacuum cleaner to vacuum it out much better way 😉 laters Steve

  • @cmac3971
    @cmac3971 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    @5:54 just under the palm of your right had there is a small photo on the appliance that shows you need to cut along the roller to basically unwrap any hair wrapped around it and the hair comes off easily. It does say to do this in the instructions too. In a house with three long haired women this technology has worked perfectly and there is never any left over hair that I can't get off

      Are you using the same Shark or are you using the one with a plug ? In my latest video I show hairs blocking it up, Shark has written to me and said would I like a free upgrade because they have had a number of complaints about this model 😀 so they no all about the product, so basely I am going to take up there offer 😀

    • @cmac3971
      @cmac3971 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@crazybaker1 yes I am using the same cordless shark model. I have just seen your latest video and the reason the pipe is getting blocked is because you are trying to hoover up pieces of rubbish that are already too big to fit through the pipe (the piece of cardboard that came out of your pipe) sorry but basic cleaning knowledge will tell you to pick up pieces like this and throw them in the bin and not ruin the life of your hoover with them. I think you might prefer a more industrial type hoover than the basic household models

  • @yveodstruxn
    @yveodstruxn ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Wow, im surprised folks seem to have ao many issues with this. First off, mine works great and its old, that brush is for HAIR, and as anyone with long hair and shedding pets will tell you, hair jams up vacuum brushes, period. in particular, long HAIR, when you vacuum, spools around the head and jams up the bristles as well as making it difficult for it to turn. The longer your hair the worse it is. Traditional brushes, no matter the vacuum require me to get put the seam ripper or scissors to un tangle it every other time i use it.
    Pet floof will always eventually need to be pulled out of bristles on any vac too, so those rubbery blades are fantastic. I cant remember the last time i had to flip over my vacuum to perform hair removal surgery.
    Also, vacuums are for cleaning, but they too must be occasionally cleaned and maintained.

    • @crazybaker1
      @crazybaker1  ปีที่แล้ว

      One big issue is new carpets which will block up the pipe and rollers, I always here about pets' hairs, but luckily for you that you don't have new carpets in your house, as you said you have pets running around 😉 😜

      The answer to the hair wrapping around the roller in any vacuum cleaner is in my view to make that whole section 'disposable'. Just make it a one-finger button action to have it click out and go buy a 'replacement'. I know I would. Make them cheap and widely available. Imagine having a replacement roller for £9.99 on Amazon that needs replacing every couple of months.

    If it starts making loud noises check what surface it says when hoovering. Spent best part of an hour cleaning & taking it apart as well as a few cuss words and it had been knocked to hard surface!!
    Mind the brush had got a LOAD of hair (mine) wrapped around it badly!! Needed cutting off. Maybe because on wrong surface setting it picked it up better.
    A self help dvd should be included with purchase.

Note to self, start cleaning filters (when taking it apart trying to find out what was up l noticed they were filthy!!) & add to check list to make sure you haven't knocked the surface by accident. I have had it out, but don't waste time do this, it doesn't seem to go back that easy, the small Castors you can just pull out and then they pop back in, but generally you just need to clean it with soapy water, best thing I got was a bottle wash brush, great for getting in smaller parts 😀
