Using the strainer in the pot sort of reverse style to strain the bone broth is genius. I am going to have to remember that for my next broth adventure.
i know you don’t have a kitchen aid mixer sarah, but for those watching & wanting to make their own brown sugar - do it in your mixer! it’s so easy! i use the whisk attachment & 3 cups of organic cane sugar + 1/3 cup organic molasses. i’ve been doing this for a couple years & it’s the yummiest!
If you have an insta pot you can make your bone broth in about 2-3 hours. For a time crunch or if you are afraid to leave a pot on the stove that long. I keep bags in the freezer that I throw meat scraps and bones, onion, celery hearts/leaves, and carrots scraps. Then when the bag is full I make a batch of bone broth in the pressure cooker and then I personally can it if I don’t have a use for it that week.
Your sandwich loaf has been a total game changer - I’ve been making bread for some friends and family and the sandwich bread is by far the crowd favorite, even more than a fancy artisan loaf! Will never NOT have that in our house!!

Some refineries use bone char to “bleach” the sugar, but that is mostly in America. In canada, apparently, there’s only one refinery in Vancouver that uses bone char. And bone char is not in the final product so that’s not really a problem. Thank you for your comment because it made me look more into it!
Just the other day, I looked up a couple recipes for barbecue sauce! We had been purchasing a delicious organic option through Azure Standard, but it’s a little expensive and it occurred to me to try to make it myself! 😁 I already love making ranch, mayonnaise, and YOUR pickled onions! Yum!!

Can you do a video just about your sauces? I love all the sauces and jams I've made from your suggestions. Like you I have small kids and am not much of a canner. But we love sauce, but not all the junk that goes into them if bought from the store.
Whenever you’re not weighing ingredients, you should avoid any additional pressure on the scale from stirring or mixing! It can mess with the calibration of the scale and slowly begin to be off in its measurements. I can’t help but share, as this is engrained in my head since I worked in a coffee shop years ago and almost broke an expensive scale by doing this!

Luckily in the Netherlands there are products that are pretty good ingredient wise! Might be a good video idea of going over ingredient lists as I'd like to learn more
We have a rhubarb plant and for the first time ever, I made rhubarb bbq sauce. I found a simple recipe that uses raisins and OMG it turned out so good. My husband said no more of that store bought, I want this. Good thing because I'm always trying to think of ways to use up this rhubarb. 😂 I still wish you would look up how to make your own soy sauce. Store bought has added hormones, not the good ones either. Yucky stuff.
I really enjoy watching your videos and would love to see more healthy recipes! I understand the “good ingredients” comment because you get to choose them but sugar is really really bad for you. Using it sparingly is one thing, but if noticed that you use it quite a bit. Maybe its the recipes that get more traction online but would love to see healthier versions of those recipes! I wouldn't eat gluten unless its Einkorn (ancient) and dairy is easier for some based off genetics. If you do dairy, probably best raw and unpasteurized (for better digestion. I don't agree with forcing the body to do something it naturally rejects.
I have been trying to master bread making for years at this point and I just can’t get it right. My doughs are always either way too sticky or way too thick and goopy. I’m about to give up.

When mine were little I kept a loose schedule: 8 breakfast 8:30 get dressed, make beds, brush teeth 9 books and tapes or puzzles, duplos, blocks, trains etc 10 go outside for a walk or play 11 playdough, painting, coloring (some at the table activity) 12 lunch 1 naps with books 3 free play: blocks, animals, train tracks, legos etc 5 dinner 7 baths and books 8 bed If I had to do it over again I'd have done Family Worship at 9 with my Bible, worship, and prayer time with them. When they're little, they need to be drawn into your spiritual life. Let them color or play quietly or crawl on you if their babies. Who cares if it's mayhem. You must have spiritual food for yourself and to give to them. All of your spirits are starving. It is DAILY bread like manna. Pray for their Daddy and grandparents. Pray for their aunts and uncles. Pray over them. Pray for neighbors. Pray for the nations and missionaries. Sing, dance, break out little instruments. Set the tone for the day.

A homemaker is someone that does not have a job, but maaaanyyyy girls give up on their jobs and start a youtube career, then proceed on marketing it as "stay at home" since this is the trend nowadays. You are definitely an amazing mom, wife but please own how you are! You are also a business woman, creative, very smart and a perfectionist since a lot of brands work with you. You are planning on writing a book, you have high aspirations and a lot of amazing qualities. But you are portraying yourself as "stay at home wife". Why? Side note white sugar is not bleached just more refined. Sugar in the raw is just less refined and still has a bit of molasses in it.

Pita is made in the oven, puffs, and creates a pocket, thus also called in America pocket bread. It's very thin and flat.
