Amazing video. 👍. I would like to try and do this with my H7B .what settings do i put it on please. Could you list all of them please. 👍.never done anything like that before.
I'm new to this device and just recently bought a GoPro hero 7 black. Can I know this is Time lapse video shooting or Night lapse photos shooting? Thank you in advance.
Hi There, sorry for the late reply, ov course. I used Isomin:1600 & Isomax:1600 with an exposute time of 30seconds. Thats what worked best with the ambient lighting in the background and with the tree.
Hey beautiful work👌👌 Sorry BUT i dont see any mode to take night time lapse video in GP H7 black. The only option i see is Night time lapse photo. Can you help me with that.
Amazing..iv an 7 hero black, and only used it for fpv drone freestyle. Whats the best white balance to use for this, under 5500k? my lowest setting is 2300k, should i use that? thank you
it really depends on the weather and the amount of light around.. generally 3200 is perfect for a nice clear cool night.. but between 3200-3900 i find good depending on how your setting is.. you have to play around with it a little... but as a reference start with 3200 ;)
This week I bought the GoPro hero 7 black and watching this video makes me want to do this! Fantastic video and it turned out wonderful! Any tips you can tell me? Smartphones and Gopro can do this nowadays and it's exciting to try it. Will you be doing more like this in future?
Hi, Sorry for the late reply. Yes i this case it was ok for Isomin:1600 & Isomax:1600. but it also depends on how much ambient light you have around your shot.. It really makes a Difference.. If there is allot of light reaching the camera then lower the iso.. IBest thing is to take a test picture to see before you start your timelapse (thats what i do).
it largely depends on the weather conditions... colder = faster battery drain.....then there is the strain on the camera its self ( lots of pictures in short intervals? long intervals between pictures ect.) I generally get about 3-3.5 hours out of my H7B with taking pictures with 30sec exposure... but i also set the screen to turn off after a few seconds, i turn off all the red lights and start the camrea with the settings already set and the camera at 100% charge. Even with all that it never hurts to have a Battery pack connected to the GoPro so you can capture the entire time you want to have the timelapse for.
@@Double8MotionPicture I want to do nightlapses that take a lot of time. So I consider to plug a powerbank, but, by doing this I open the gopro door and leave the camera without a weather seal, right?
Thank you very much!! :D I am super happy with how it turned out :). As for your question, yes i did edit it but not much. First i loaded all Pictures into Lightroom to do a Batch edit. Here I only adjusted the WB since my Gopro was Stuck on 5700 ( Software glitch) and added a little De-noising but that was it. Then i imported all pictures into FinalCut ProX where I put them together into a compound clip and added some more De-Noising and a little Sharpening. Thats it really, i was trying to keep is a natural as possible. Plus im still not very good a Colour grading
Wow the fps and post processing are just perfect. Didn't know ISO 1600 can give this clean images. But why aren't you happy with WB 5.5k? I would set it exactly there, even if I had all the choices in the world. Great job.
I first used Lightroom to do a "Batch edit" where I adjusted the White balance since my H7 was Stuck on 5700 (Software glitch) there removed a little of the ISO noise using the "de-Noise" funktion. Then I exported all the pictures and imported them into my Final Cut ProX software where I made a clip 4K at (24fps), added the De-Noise function to reduce a little more residual noise. Voila Though i have to say that the Gopro makes great nicht pictures considering the small sensor size.. the Trick is having the ideal night sky as well as the right combination of light (not to bright-not to dark)
Are you using a Hero7B as well or a newer or older model GP? What settings are you using, and what don't you like about the results you are getting? Cheers
Oh it does. and a pretty good one at that in my opinion compared to the older models. Do you have one? im going to be making a video soon explaining all the Nighlapse options
Wow, beautiful! Absolutely beautiful.
very beautifull. what settings did you use?
just got a hero 7 still learning how do you make it from the slideshow of photo into an actual time lapse on the night lapse photo settings
Magnificent time lapses, inspiring 👌

I did know that i can get footage like this out of a Hero 7. Any reason why you did not use the GoPro raw format?
Did u use the night lapse setting
That is just magnificent! I gotta try this.
Thank you!! GO FOR IT!!! please share your results!! Cheers
High is this with the night lapse setting i must know plz

i love this, it's beautiful!
Thank you!!!! 😁 😁 😁
How many batteries you changed?
What’s the background music
How long did you film?
About 3 Nights with roughly about 8 hours each +/ - , and then i took the best parts of each. Settings were Identical throughout the entire filming.

You have to take the individual photos and string them together. Lightroom will do it.

Pretty cool. Nicely done.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
I made this timelapse in Bavaria Germany. Just a little north of Munich!
Is it ok for iso min 1600 and max 1600?

Hi. How long is one complete battery charge in gopro 7 black to make timelapse in terms of hours?
it largely depends on the weather conditions... colder = faster battery drain.....then there is the strain on the camera its self ( lots of pictures in short intervals? long intervals between pictures ect.) Is it work in go pro 9 ?
how do you edited that?
One of the best night lapses I've seen from a GoPro camera! Did you edited it or any colour grading?

easily the best i've seen, how long would you say is good length at these settings? i'll have to improvise a powerbank
Is it possible for the go pro to catch the stars if it’s in a light pollution city area ?
Nice
Did your battery last all night ?

They rotate all by themselves - no intervention required.
