I'm knitting the Purl Soho Bandana Cowl with some awesome yarn I got at a flea market. It's Fiber Hound in the Sirius and Hushpuppy colorways. I went to Rhinebeck for the first time, but crowds aren't my thing, so I don't think I'll go back. I bought Garthenor Organic Yarn to make a baby sweater. Glad you're back! I also suffered from "I'm better than you because I've never gotten Covid" until I got it, too 🤣
So happy to see you again! I’m so sorry that your Covid experience has been such a misery. I can’t agree more that we are meant to live in multi-generational communities. This hit me when I was a freshman in college. I was so bored being around people my own age all the time! I ended up volunteering at an after school program for elementary students. It added stress to my life, but was worthwhile.
When I heard you talking about heading to Rhinebeck next year to have the whole experience in my head I said (in a child's voice): "I want to go with her!!" Referring to Covid and your cough, I haven't had Covid but 2 weeks ago I caught rsv virus and had a terrible cough, I went to urgent care and they sent me to the ER where I was dx with pneumonia. Oh my God you are such a riot Gina 🤣🤭😆 Nice to see you back again. You’re so right about multigenerational family experience. I’m an only child with parents who immigrated to Australia when I was young, I have no extended family, I’ve never seen a dead body and I’ve only been to one funeral and I’m about to be 55. I have zero concept of death or extended family. Feel better and happy knitting, thanks for sharing you always make me laugh 🤣 Karen
This was my first time going to Rhinebeck did not buy a single skein or any fiber lol was just taking it all in and loved meeting everyone. I did enjoy the maple cotton candy very much!
Sorry you got Covid! Lots of people still think it's no big deal, but it is for many people. I'm still trying hard not to get it - there's a lot of places I just won't go. Love the patterns you showed - put quite a few in my favorites bundles. Feel better!
I am laid up with an injury to my knee and ankle. I was feeling a bit down about it. But then I tune into one of my favorite TH-cam channels, SkeinCocaine and I end up feeling sooo much better! Gina, you’re hilarious and I love your candidness. I’m truly inspired. Laughter is the best medicine. So thank you for that. By the way…I’m laughing with you not at you❤😄🙏
I've so missed going to Rhinebeck the past three years due to EVERYTHING. I have a regular place to stay, a place I adore in Hyde Park, but I'd love to park my car next to you. I always drive. It's a safe haven at times. I think it would be fun to sit next to you, side by side in our cars, while we show each other our purchases. Hahaha! No, you don't know me. Yet... I am currently knitting a Norwegian Star hat for my husband. Love your current projects. Thank you for an enjoyable 50 minutes.
So great to watch your podcast tonight while I knit. I'm sorry to hear you got covid. I hope your symptons lessen soon. I absolutely love your pressed flowers shawl as well as the navy yarn with white flecks. It's beautiful. Love watching your channel. Keep knitting and resting
lovely, so enjoyed this time with you. You are so inspiring to me. I like your thoughts on life,I'm older and am so against "old folks homes" etc, being around all ages is so very important. I sent for a kit for the pressed flowers as yours was so beautiful and am excited to finally knit with your yarn . Hope you are back to you soon with no lingering covid issues.
I always look forward to your podcasts. You got a lot more done with COVID than I did… I just read a lot of trashy books and laid around. I am about 3.5 months out and have had energy & mild cognitive issues since - it is no joke. It seems to get continually better. Hope you are 100% soon, and thanks for the inspiration!
I love seeing your projects and your matter of fact, honest assessment of your process and the results ….you’re just fun to watch😊 If I go to Rhinebeck I’d want to be part of your entourage.
Sorry you got Covid. I had it in the early part of the summer. I’m still dealing with mild memory issues. So, you are absolutely correct about generational co-habitation. In the 40’s when my grandparents moved here from Houston, TX they purchased a house big enough for their adult children a few cousins and their school aged children to live in. When everyone was still alive we all lived within a 3-5 mile radius of each other. My mom owns a duplex here in L.A., she and I live downstairs and my sister and niece live upstairs. I hope that you at least stop coughing soon!
Beautiful work. Man you can turn stuff out!I know you were sick and had a bit more time to allot to your craft , I’m really impressed by the quality and quantity of work that you have achieved!!! Beautiful color choices! I have not seen a mosaic knit like this before!!! I have so many patterns in my cue, however this one is going to have to be added to the mix because I L❤ve it!
Missed you. So happy you are healing and getting stronger. Covid just sucks. I experienced hair loss for about four months after I had it. Thankfully I was blessed with nice thick hair, but it was a bit distressing. Loved your knits. ❤️
Hello! So glad to hear you are on the mend. Always great to see you, your yarn and garments. I am working on another striped garment inspired by your striped kal. Take care. Hugs to my knitting PEEP! Stephanie from California
I have wanted to knit a Mountain mist for so long but couldn’t find the right colors and THEN ta da! Boom ordered! And I have never ordered a kit always wanted to pick my own colors. That sweater is tricky I have seen so many combos I don’t like. You my dear nailed it. I avoided Covid until July and then it caught up with me. It lingered not bad just annoyingly un fun for a few weeks. So very tired. At three months I would say I was over it. Be patient keep knitting… that is why we have it to knit our worries away. I have never been to Rhinebeck but such do want to go. But i feel that you need to have some people crazy knitting buds to go with right? Think I will join the Sophie Shawl gift knit party. So many single or double and skeins calling my name from my stash. Keep smiling through and enjoy those kiddos they will be gone before you know it. We just moved to MI to be near our kids and grandkids and finally can share life with them. Better option than heading south in my mind (don’t ask me that in January) but we can all be there for each other share life and split our family didn’t have that. Thanks for the podcast. ❤One foot in front of the other keep creating you’ve got this!
Glad to see you back! Broke/injured (the doctors can't decide if I re-injured or re-broke and old break.) so knitting is limited. Have many projects on the needles to be gifts, but they are sitting waiting for me to be 'post injury'. I am working on the Litmus Cowl by Jude of Stranded Dyeworks.
It’s wonderful that you are feeling much better. Yes COVID brain is real, it’s been three months since I had it. I too was so proud I had not gotten it. The whole family got it and in the so did I. I am still not 100%, fog on the brain, CRS and easily fatigued. I am pushing on and hope to feel back to my old self again. Totally agree with you on the multi generational living. Everyone learning from each other.. 🙋🏻♀️sign me up for that big house at Rhinebeck next year. , I’m all in!
Love your life update. We are VA residents and just had one graduate from VT and one still in at UVA. Even as in state residents, it is crazy! Enjoy the ride of senior year! A Very exciting time for your son and as parents to witness this next step!
Well I bought the special baby grand at cakepalooza and the plan is to make the no frills sweater. We rented a tiny bungalow this year and it was so fun staying a long weekend to participate in all the events. I’d love to stay in a big house with a bunch of people that sounds like so much fun. Count me in on that!
SO glad you are feeling better!! We all had Covid back in January (we live in TX and have a son in middle school - I knew we were going to get it because after the holiday school break no one at his school was masking any longer). Thankfully it wasn't too bad... Can you stop and pick me up in San Antonio on your way to Rhinebeck??? 😂 I'm DYING to go, but we've never lived anywhere near, and are even further now - we moved to TX 9 years ago from Chicago.
So glad to see you back and I hope you continue to feel better every day! Love the navy fashion week yarn! Have you watched Bad Sisters yet? You might enjoy it! Take care!
I just love your videos because I love to see the person that created my favorite yarn! (The Special)! I am currently working a Halloween Shawl so I can use up the Halloween inspired yarn I got for my birthday...apparently they didn't listen when I said (more than once) Skein Cocaine has the yarn I want!! Anyway, I would love to room with you next year. I've never been so hoping to go next year! Hugs from Texas!!
So agree about the sharp needles and Patons Kroy socks, I had to change needles, who wants to watch their knitting all the time, esp. doing stockinete, Its not even lace!!
Good to see you back. I hope you continue to recover from your Covid infection. I’m working on the Stephen West Twists and Turns mkal and just started a pressed flowers hat.
Nice to see you Gina! Love watching your podcast You crack me up! Hope you feel 100% soon! Working on my Easy V (sleeve island) I went to the pregame events on Friday this year not to the Sheep & Wool (too many humans)Would love to spend the weekend there!Maybe next year!🤗
Yay, you're back...so happy that you are starting to feel better. Covid is no joke. I was wondering if you would consider putting together a kit for the Pressed Flowers Cardi in your yak and First Bloom color way.
So many pretty WIPs! Your pressed flower shawl is beautiful! I’m planning to cast on the coordinating cardigan! I’m with you on the Rhinebeck FOMO. I’m going next year too! I too have considered driving just to have the convenience of having a vehicle. Options!
Good seeing you again! Sorry your covid was so bad. I had it in July but was only sick 1 day. I got the yarn for the blue ridge mountain sweater, the green is gorgeous! I can’t wait to cast it on. I also like to knit socks in tandem. No 2nd sock syndrome 😁
The Purl Code by Isabel Kraemer would be fun using your Fashion Week colorway. You could do the “purl code” sections every time you came to a wide splash!
Have you tried Flexi flips? I buy them on Etsy many people sell them. I adore them. No more leddars no more. Ive never been able to use double needle point needles they make me nuts. Thee however are wonderful. They have two different tips one blunt one more pointy for lace. The center cord is wonderful. They have them in all sizes kinda pricy but you can buy only the sizes you’ll use for socks and then the longer cord in center thats 1 1/2 inch’s long I have in larger sizes and use them for sleeves. They are great for sleeves. I’ve done one on Flexi flips the other on 9’ circulars or one long circular just depends. That way I can I have both going sleeves being king at the same time. So making the sleeves feels like I’m only doing one sleeve but I’m getting both of them identical sleeves and socks if that’s what I’m after.
I enjoyed your podcast today. You are inspiring. I also knit socks with the magic heel and like you say, it fits me well. So, glad you are feeling better.💞
I wasn't able to go to Rhinebeck this year either.😢 I would LOVE to be part of your entourage next year and do ALL the things! Keep me in the loop, please! Take care❣
So sorry you had a bad bout of COVID but also glad you are On the mend! I hear ya about Rhinebeck FOMO and absolutely you should do the “full meal deal” next year… no compromising! Seriously would love to join you next year but can’t commit at this point…. Aiming for 2024 so keep me ( and sis) in mind!!! Take care and look forward to your next video❤️ Linda
Very inspiring! Gina I like all things herbal/remedies. I can suggest a few things which I have used to help me. For hot flush- I used powdererd fennel seeds, black dried grapes(i think they are different from raisins)and lump sugar-sakar(that's the best way to describe them) ps Have you by any chance have an Indian grocery shop? You will be able to get them there. Anyway use about a teaspoon of all above in a glass of water let it melt/soak, leave it in the fridge and sip it. all these ingredients are considered cold. Don't use them now as you have a cough- use grated ginger and pinch so you have a few drops of the juice with lemon and honey -it will help get rid of the catarh. sorry for all the long awful one hand typing as obviously the other hand has knitting!😊
Happy to see you are on the upside of healing. You are so playfully inspirational! Beautiful inside & out 🌞🌝 Can I please ask….. what number you cast on for your sample Gateway shawl 😊 I just purchased the pattern from your link 😉
OMG!!! I’d love to be in your Rhinebeck Entourage!!! We could make a drinking game out of forgetting what we were going to say!!! (Or words….I forget words - thank you menopause!)🤭🤗😂. I sincerely hope your cough disappears soon, must be exhausting, and you feel yourself soon….it was wonderful catching up with you…and laughed my head off visioning yarn as a flying saucer!!! Take care!!
I’d be down with being in your group for Rhinebeck. I’ve always wanted to go but I don’t know where to even think about getting a house or a hotel room, all that stuff. So it would be great to go with somebody who’s been there before and knows the ins and outs of it.
So glad you are back for another episode; so sorry you are still not back 100%! 😥 One of my very good friends has has "long" covid and recently started a raw vegan diet. She claims it has made her have more energy and feel more like normal. She makes smoothies out of Power Greens and maybe mangoes (?) for breakfast and lunch and then eats a salad of the cruciferous blend you can find at Costco and Trader Joe's for dinner. You are supposed to consume a pound of raw vegetables every day. I am finishing up my Pressed Flowers shawl from your beautiful kit with the grey and cream! It's so wonderful and soft!❣️ As someone in the "elderly" category myself, I totally agree with your thoughts on the matter. 😀 I'm with you on the swatching! 😂🤣😂 Never, ever do it! So sorry you missed Rhinebeck! I went for the very first and only time so far in 2019. Had a blast - drove all the way from west suburban Chicago with my friend Jane. It was fantastic. I spotted you in the crowd. If I ever get there again maybe I will be brave enough to say hello. 😜 Hope you shake that cough very soon! ❣️
Hi Gina, I’m glad you are feeling better. I didn’t go to RB either, and I really missed it this year. I think your striped sweater is perfect as is! It’s like the whisper of stripes. :) I recently purged about 5 or 6 wip’s and am starting fresh for the fall/winter…only working on things I love. Let’s hope I can actually something!!
I have been noticing lately that I’m not retaining things as much as I used to and it’s not memory loss, it’s not retaining info. I really think it’s from watching the internet too much, Utube videos…..I don’t need to remember that delete, deleted delete. I listen to audiobooks to go to sleep, while I do any chores, while I knit, sew, cook etc. and I don’t need to remember those either delete, delete, delete . I think that’s the problem with all the data I deal with daily, in one ear and out the other. I’m alone a lot of the time so mostly I’m not even talking about stuff I watch or listen to so no need to retain the info for that either🤔🫣 Your knitting is gorgeous as usual, you just can pick the right fibre, colour and pattern to make something special. I’m just knitting socks as usual, must have 5 or 6 pair on the go but did finish one pair recently and am on the toe of the second sock in mother pair. Guess what the kids are getting for their handmade part of their gifts this year.😂🤣. Hope you feel better soon, I’m fighting off some bug with loads of vitamin C and Zinc, fingers crossed I win the war. 🙋🏼♀️
Missed you! Glad you’re back! I’m so sorry you have been sick with Covid, and continuing to have a cough. That cough lingered a long while with me, too, after my bout with Covid. So much for vaccines and boosters, right? 😊 I wasn’t able to knit as much as you did when I was sick. I was entirely too “tired” to do much of anything!! But i love your FO’s and WIPS! You’re so much fun! Sure wish i could join you next year at Rhinebeck!! Prayers for complete healing soon!❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I absolutely love you being you!! I’ve never attended Rhinebeck, but would like to…or at least I think I would. I’m rather new to knitting so I’d like to do the Half and Half Triangle Wrap. I’m want to keep the traditional wrn-ts and do that 3 stitch slip stitch at the end of the row….but can’t quite figure it out!
You really crack me up. ☺️😍. I must make those magic heal socks because I think the heal is where I always get hung up! 🤪. I too think families and people should live in multi generational households! How can we get that going as THE trend!!! ❤️❤️❤️
So glad you are feeling better, sounds like a long recovery. I have dodge the "C" so far but I mask everywhere I go inside. I am SICK of masking but am afraid of getting sick with it, even though like you I am healthy, active and eat clean. I have never been to Rhinebeck and hope to go someday. I really want to attend Wool and Folk, Indie Untangled and Cakepolooza probably a bit more because of the crowd sizes and they look mostly outside. Love all your knits, I am going to try the magic heel when I cast on socks. I am knitting 3 test knit sweaters..................my urge to cast on has translated to testing and I must stop!! I told my family this is it for the year, I just get the see something posted, want it and volunteer. I will watch the "documentary" on Dahmer so I can get the other "real" perspective. I thought the drama was well done but disturbing. Nature vs Nurture...............what makes us who we are. I do believe that Dahmer was mentally ill/insane for sure. Studying brains of people like him can help us answer the question of what makes a killer a killer. Thanks for hanging out, glad you are back!
Hi! I’m currently knitting the Three Seasons Cardigan . ❤️ all those beautiful twists & turns. Knitting a pair of String of Lights Socks while watching you podcast❤.. Unfortunately, I was forced to close an LYS I co-owned with a dear friend because of an illness. We were going into our 5 th of business, and absolutely everything about it, especially our clients. It was so much fun! I ❤️yarn and supporting indie dyers. I’ve had a Rheinbeck dream, and unfortunately will always be a dream for me. I live in OR, and NY is just not going to happen. I hope you have a wonderful adventure next year. 😊T.
Glad your feeling better. I am doing a Pressed Flower shawl just starting the chart. Saw you are having a hot flash. I get bio identical pellet therapy so no more flashes. Not sure you can or want to do it but I personally helps me in so many ways like energy, not more hot flashes and a bit more frisky lol. I go to a Dr. Outside Knoxville but live in north west side of NC. Love your yarn. Looking forward to buying some soon. Thanks for showing all your fun endeavors. J
I want to room with you!!! I’m bummed I missed it too. I’m going through a separation, so my whole summer… year, has been turned upside down 😢. I’m knitting the DK Gravel Path Socks by TwinStitches Designs in Woolberry Fiber Co. Berry DK weight, in Cabin Retreat color way.
Please do this 💐 start saying I am well 💐QUIT saying for example I have this cough; the POWER of the words we say 💐 btw you look amazing. The knit wear is fantastic 💐 be well; I adore your podcast and your shop. Knitting community needs you 💐
I'm working on my Zeeweg wrap and my second What the Fade shawl. Unless the Canadian dollar improves, Rhinebeck is not on my to do list (I'm intrigued by it, but as an introvert I think it could be overwhelming).
ok so if I don't get to Rhinebeck before I croak ......I think I'm going to need to resort to standing on a street corner with a sign that says looking for knitting buddies to head East 😂 -just not as many knitters in the West (or in AZ that I can find) -sigh. I recently finished my copy version of your Iconic Sexy Slub Millie and I love it -a little more cropped and went with 3/4 sleeves! Easy V off the needles and Medvind (both part of A Knit Collective KAL). Made Benton boyfriend for the Summer of Stripes KAL. 40+ years of knitting and I do NOT swatch either....95% of the time it works out. Glad you're on the mend .
I absolutely want to be in your entourage. I was there, it was FOCKING busy. I'll be available for entourange on Sunday only because of that. Omg. Gina. How have I never knit a pair of DK weight socks? I am definitely into this idea- and I'm going upstairs after this to scour my stash for dk yarn. How much yarn did you need, do you need more than 1 skein? I love how yours turned out with the red cast on edge. so cute.
DK socks are incredible!!!!! You only need one skein… unless you need to make monster socks! My husband wears size 13 and I need an entire skein per sock! 💀Thank you for watching!!!! 🥰😘💖
I love serial killer movies. Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Charles Manson... so interesting to me. I LOVE YOUR YARN!! I will be picking up some more, with my birthday money. Having my New Grandbaby Aurora, is really inspiring me to get hooking. I love that pressed flowers shawl. It's so pretty.. I love the cream color yarn you used in the, feather & fan sweater. Socks are beautiful. I hope your covid symptoms leave soon. Ughhhh, hot flashes, I've had them for a few months now. No Bueno. Great seeing you tonight. So happy you got your Instagram back, and didn't have to change your name.. 💗
I'll one up you.....I love serial killer (or just intense) current televised trials. I'm addicted to watching current trials on Law & Crime channel on TH-cam. Currently watching the Waukesha Wisconsin 2021 Christmas parade car attack. It's intense but interesting as the defendant is acting as his own lawyer and he's extremely belligerent.
HA! If you'll stand a 7 year old with us, we'll hang out. Will Dave come and cook? Will definitely be there next year. Almost messaged you to do a live or youtube while Rhinebeck was happening. It's always so fun to see your knitting. I think Amy Palko said her LAPIS came out big too. I lol'd with the swatching zoom, haha! I fully agree with the multigenerational and how it should be. Wish my 82 year old Dad would at least come move by us. He's set on being alone in the west and wants everyone out that way. Hate the heat though. Did your daughter naturally gravitate towards those things, or did you guys get the kids involved in all the things? Hope you start feeling a 100% yourself. We got really bad upper respiratory infections here and it's been a tough week. All the best, stay well- Kimberly
Glad you feel better! I love the new yarn label. I feel like you. I wouldn’t watch Dahmer. The Watcher is good, though. Your FO s are lovely. Take care. Knit Pro?
You were a latchkey kid like many of us were with career parents. I think Dahmer's parents were fighting in front of him constantly. It was sad. I loved the SInner but it was another dark series. I had Rhinebeck FOMO for a bit but am going to go net year. I think I will have significantly busted my stash by then.
My parents fought in front of me all the time. It was devastating and exhausting. Jeffery had a severe mental illness that he couldn’t control. Sad all around! 😘😘😘
ON multigenerational living -- Agree that we all need to be present for each other through all ages of living. When we sort ourselves out by age, we forget to care for the young and the old, we fight our own aging harder than we should, and we fail to make choices that support the larger community. On a completely different note: WHAT IS THAT GLORIOUS GLOWING COLOR that you're using on your Windgate shawl???
I want to be part of your Rhinebeck 2023 entourage! If that's creepy, ignore the comment :) I loved your pressed flowers shawls. I really love them, but just don't think I have it in me. I just do not love mosaic knitting (the process). Also, I was laughing so loud (multiple times) about the not swatching and the laissez-faire attitude about swatching.
I also suffered from "I'm better than you because I've never gotten Covid" until I got it, too 🤣
Love that you’re back❤️
So happy to see you again!
When I heard you talking about heading to Rhinebeck next year to have the whole experience in my head I said (in a child's voice): "I want to go with her!!" I'm native to Connecticut so I've been to a lot of Rhinebecks but in 2019 I moved to NE Maryland with the coming of my first grandchild. (referring to multigenerational living). I bought the house across the cul-de-sac from my daughter and son-in-law and now I live across the street from my 3-year old granddaughter! It's a dream come true. However, I have no knitting tribe in MD due to the alignment of covid/my timing in relocating. The local yarn store closed just before I moved. So, it's a little hard to find line-minded people my age. Anyway, LOVE the flower shawl. I don't think I have the ADD brainpower to do it. What do you think? Referring to Covid and your cough, I haven't had Covid but 2 weeks ago I caught rsv virus and had a terrible cough, I went to urgent care and they sent me to the ER where I was dx with pneumonia. You don't want to be hospitalized. Healthcare has changed since Covid with the mass exodus of nursing staff. Thanks for a great podcast. I always enjoy it. I'm impressed with your prolific knitting while sick.
You’re hilarious! I was in marching band all 4 years of high school and played every brass instrument! Good for her! 💕
This was my first time going to Rhinebeck did not buy a single skein or any fiber lol was just taking it all in and loved meeting everyone. I did enjoy the maple cotton candy very much!
Im glad you are feeling better.
Sorry you got Covid! Lots of people still think it's no big deal, but it is for many people. I'm still trying hard not to get it - there's a lot of places I just won't go. Love the patterns you showed - put quite a few in my favorites bundles. Feel better!
I love how you lost your train of thought and just said so. enjoyed the yops and perspective

Let’s do it!! 🚗 See you next year, friend! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
So great to watch your podcast tonight while I knit. I'm sorry to hear you got covid. I hope your symptons lessen soon. I absolutely love your pressed flowers shawl as well as the navy yarn with white flecks. It's beautiful. Love watching your channel. Keep knitting and resting
My Favorite Things sweater No. 9 is the perfect turtleneck for the gorgeous blue yarn!
I love your sense of humor!!! I really enjoy your podcasts!
Love watching your podcasts! glad you're feeling better...loved seeing your projects too!

thoroughly enjoyed this and totally relate to your mood . . . . knitting is my savior
Great to see you back. I’ve missed you. Lovely yarn lovely knits. Happy Fall! ❤😊
Love the navy and white speckles yarn. Hope you dye some more. So good to see you again. Feel better soon.

I’ve got some ready to ship 💙😘
Yes Yes I would love to do Rheinbeck so count me in !!!
Glad you are doing better! I love the new yarn labels.
Your pressed flower shawl yarn combo is gorgeous! I am making my first pair of socks and I will definitely try the tandem knitting idea, thanks!
Totally agree if I ever go to NYS&W I’d have a place to stay and my own wheels.
Thank you Lisa!!! 🥰😘💖
Thanks for your podcast and sock knitting tips!
Yay! And if I get one more question about your scarf!!! 🤣😹😭😃😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
I'm DYING to go, but we've never lived anywhere near, and are even further now - we moved to TX 9 years ago from Chicago.
So glad you’re back Gina! Always love your episodes. Totally missed you at Rhinebeck ❤
Missed you too! You had the most fabulous Rhinebeck sweaters/dress!! Thank you for filming a bit of my yarn at Cakepalooza! NEXT YEAR!!!! ♥️🥰💖
So happy to have your podcast! If you are taking applications for your Rhinebeck “entourage”, I’m so in!!!
Yay!!🥰😘🥰😘
So many pretty WIPs! Your pressed flower shawl is beautiful! I’m planning to cast on the coordinating cardigan!
I’m with you on the Rhinebeck FOMO. I’m going next year too! I too have considered driving just to have the convenience of having a vehicle. Options!
Yes to a big house. Maybe I’ll drive and just pick you up on the way!
That’s a great idea!!!!! 😘🥰💖
I feel inspired I have the Mountain Mist pattern at the top of my list 🥰
One of Petite knits slipcovers would be awesome in your navy. Hope you feel better soon.
I am in for Rhinebeck. I don't have a knitting buddy to travel with!
I plan on driving!
First time watching & I subscribed. Recovery from Covid can be a long process with many lingering side effects so take it easy.
I enjoyed your podcast today. You are inspiring. I also knit socks with the magic heel and like you say, it fits me well. So, glad you are feeling better.💞
Thank you Susan!!! 🥰💖💖😘
I always went to Rhinebeck from the city, but this year I stayed in Poughkeepsie with a car. Such a better experience! Team navy with black 😁
I wasn't able to go to Rhinebeck this year either.😢 I would LOVE to be part of your entourage next year and do ALL the things! Keep me in the loop, please! Take care❣
You got it!!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Hahahaha flying saucer….happens to me all the time…little bratty yarn!
Your knitting and yarn are beautiful. ❤
Thank you! 💖💖💖
Beautiful inside & out 🌞🌝
Can I please ask….. what number you cast on for your sample Gateway shawl 😊
I just purchased the pattern from your link 😉
I have never been to Rhinebeck, but I’m scheming to go next year!
DO IT! See you next year!!! ♥️🥰💖
I wish I could frog my WIPS… but they are in perpetual purgatory for infinity. ♾ Hope we can both attend next year! ♥️😘🥰💖
I’m alone a lot of the time so mostly I’m not even talking about stuff I watch or listen to so no need to retain the info for that either🤔🫣
Your knitting is gorgeous as usual, you just can pick the right fibre, colour and pattern to make something special.
Thank you, Cynthia! 🥰😘
Leslie Friend has a great tutorial on the icord edge for her Half/Half wrap! ♥️
You really crack me up. ☺️😍. I must make those magic heal socks because I think the heal is where I always get hung up! 🤪.
I too think families and people should live in multi generational households! How can we get that going as THE trend!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Lovely podcast Gina
Hope you are fully recovered soon
Glad you are better!
Yeah Susie… the documentary is the way to go- but you’re gonna have nightmares! Hope to see you at Rhinebeck someday!! 💖😘💖😘💖
Feel better
I’m knitting the DISSENT PULLOVER in Malabrigo Mora, in black and white! I’d love to go to Rhinebeck, but I don’t do well in crowds!
I’m not a crowd person either! 😅😘😘
Sorry to hear you had to close your LYS! But I’m sure you made life long friends! Thanks so much for watching, Friend! ♥️🥰😘💖
Gina you are so funny! I just laugh and laugh. Can I be in your entourage 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes you can!!!! 😂🥰😘🥰😘
Hi Judy! I need to find a Dr. that will prescribe me bioidentical hormones because my dr. won’t! Thanks for watching! 🥰💖😘
The Easy V!!! I’m casting that on ASAP! I hope you do make it to Rhinebeck before you expire and that I get to meet you! ♥️😘🥰💖
Would you recommend the magic heel over the FLK heel? I always get holes when I knit the FLK, especially when I use a contrast color!!
Trombones rule!! Great podcast
I’m trying for my first Rhinebeck next year 😊
I absolutely want to be in your entourage.
How did I not know you had a TH-cam until now!?!? Yaaass!!!
Have you been living under a rock?? Haha Miss you! 🥰💖💖😘
@@theskeincocaine Looooll basically. That and I swear Instagram started hiding actual content from me and just showing me ads! Ughh.
Loved the podcast… I also had a tough time with Covid. I LOVE the Navy Blue yarn; may I suggest the Knit A rainbow sweater? 😊
I think you’re right! Knit a Rainbow sweater pattern will be perfect!!!!🥰
Please be in my entourage!!!! 🥰😘🥰😘🥰😘🥰😘
@@theskeincocaine YAY! 🥰
I love navy with black. Very Dior
I’m on board for RB!!
Wait! We could call it a LAL!!! A Live ALONG! 😍
LisaR- Lmao- yes ! I recognize the needles - but I can't recall name either ...
Hiya Hiya! 🥰😘
Glad you feel better! I love the new yarn label. I feel like you. I wouldn’t watch Dahmer. The Watcher is good, though. Your FO s are lovely. Take care. Knit Pro?
HiyaHiya Sharps! Thank you for watching!!!! 🥰😘💖
Hyia hyia sharp…….. sorry spelling🙄So sorry u got covid!!! I would be interested in renting a Rhinebeck house too🎉
Love it!!
Also, you’re hilarious!!
Linda!!! You so beautifully articulated why we should be multigenerational! Thank you! And yes… my tobacco color is on 🔥 😘😘
I want to be part of your Rhinebeck 2023 entourage!
Please be in my entourage!!! Imagine how much fun we will have!!!! 😘🥰😘🥰😘🥰😘😘
