MASSIVE FISH!
The city is known for its massive fishing industry, and legendary sized tuna! Being in the area I decided I had to check out the Fishport and see what it was like...
IT IS A MUST SEE!
It was just amazing hanging out, witnessing all the giant fish come in from boats. The way the fishermen carry the fish with ease is simply amazing! To think that if you dropped one of them....
That is a lot of money! Grabe!
I have so much respect for these fishermen who go out for months at a time, work incredibly hard and yet were still so willing to share laughter, happiness and fun with me in the early hours of the morning! This is my morning at the Fishport in General Santos City, Mindanao!

General Santos is actually one of the largest suppliers of Yellowfin Tuna for the Japanese _sashimi_ markets. Those fish are really really expensive. LOL
Not just one of the largest, it is Tuna Capital of the World.

i just watching Korean travel show, it name "BATTLE TRIP" 2 korean host serearch and find local restaurants, it's TUNA GRILLED = TUNA PANGA, it look delicious!! i want to try it.
I'm Vietnamese, it would amazing if they have Tuna restaurant in Vietnam. Vietnam love seafood alots, we do eat meat, beef, chicken. But fish, shrimp & seafood is mostly desires food.
I never know Philippines have alots tuna like this. Cause mostly Philippines eat meat & chicken more than fish, seafood. Of course Philippines do eat fish, seafood, i was mention the whole percentage to compare my country & other island country.
btw, Philippines is beautiful country.
