@@pardeeptandonIndra Gandhi had to respond as the refugee spill over was huge and affecting India. Hence India had no choice but to intervene. Nevertheless she did not do anything for Hindus per se. However the current issue in Bangladesh was an internal matter. Any action by India will be construed as an interference in the internal matter of this country. Also any statement/action by India will further worsen the situation for the Hindus there. That said, i agree, the issue should have been escalated in international forums such as UN.

Some of these reforms, like One Nation, One Election, do not offer a ton of political benefit to parties, but are necessary to reduce the amount of time and money central and state government machinery spends on conducting elections, and also helps focus the governments and political parties on doing work instead of constantly being in campaign mode. You have to give it to him for continuing push for several thankless reforms.
