World-class does not have to mean soloists unless specified. Professional instrumentalists who have played in world-class orchestras and even taken the role of concertmaster (or the section principal of some other instrument) qualify.

I’m a choir teacher. I’m stealing this game to do with my choir students when we get back to school. I love sight reading games! This one is also a good conversation starter about the importance of practicing a new piece at a slower tempo/is faster tempo always better? So many possibilities! What a great idea!

Guys, I really want to say how much my passion for the classical music increased because of you two. I play the electric and acoustic guitar, and when I was younger, I learned the basics of trumpet and just the basic of musical theory too. Your channel just brought me back the pleasure of playing and listening to music, and I’m really grateful. I have now a intense interest in violin, and I thinking of buying one when I have the enough money for it. I didn’t have that pleasure for music since I entered college. The third piece they played I played on Alto Saxophone for this year's solo and ensemble! If I'm correct it should be Sonata by Henri Eccles! What they played was the second movement. It gave me such a strong sense of nostalgia. I loved that piece so much and I can't really play it again for another solo and ensemble. 😭😭 I love it so much.
Thanks! I couldn't remember what song it was. I initially thought it was one of the Ferling Etudes, but couldn't find it. This was bugging me.

I have an idea for a sightreading challenge... it’s like the Poker Face challenges with the food on REACT.
Basically, there are two pieces. One hard one, and an easy one. One for Brett, one for Eddy.
These pieces will be kept in a box or something so they cant see which one they have.
One of the two violinists will be allowed to keep or switch their box/hidden piece, and the other can look at their piece and try to manipulate the other into picking the bad one.
Idk it seemed fun to me so I hope you like the idea!
