Ah so nostalgic. Good old Dune 2. I still remember how tedious was the controls (excusable as it was the very first RTS) and I have finished two whole campaigns with those … I didn’t have the courage to do the third. Nice remasters. Keep up the good work.
Yeah, this is pure nostalgy! I was around 9-10 y.o. when I played it for the first time. Using keyboard shortcuts, helped a lot to reduce klicks. But still, lack of multi selection is a real pain. Warcraft first introduced multiselection, but it was also limited to 4 i think. The gameplay footage comes from my own playtrough from couple of years ago. I've managed to configure the touch controls to work very nicely on a Windows Tablet and DosBox, it was a very good experience.
I'm planning to remaster all of the Dune tracks so stay tuned... but it's very time consuming, so it could bo couple of months till I manage to get back to it.
For me, the OST of Emperor: the Battle for Dune is still one of the best OST I have ever heard in any game, all three Houses. And yes, I agree with you than the Harkonnen OST is the most epic one of the three.
@@smiechu Yep, especially the the Hard hitting orchestration with heavy metal guitar rifts of Chinese battle themes, those themes were clearly inspired by Frank Klepacki's styles despite composed by Bill Brown. The soundtracks from Great War RTS was composed by Frank Klepacki as well but this time he chose a different style.
Sweet Jesus! Awesome! Jaw droping remake.
Dude, this is epic.. you recognize the original melody but it's modern and way more dramatic. Good job! Pozdrawiam
PS: actually I landed here from the Dune Legacy project where you posted your soundtrack in the forum. Hope much more will find the way to your work.
❤ this game , even with its shitty order units 1 by 1 controls
Yeah, Harkonnen ending's the best.
This is really something dude
The soundtracks of C&C and Total Annihilation just had a baby and it is your remastered work, great stuff!
Intense epicness!! Motivation +100%
Long Live the Fighters!!!
This is *beautiful!*
F***king epic.
When 5:50 started playing in the original game
Best ever
Doskonałe to jest. Jeśli grać w Diune to już tylko z tą aranżacją :)

I agree. I have fond memories of this game too. All the Westwood RTS games were and are still my favorites to this day.
For house Ordos!
I had almost forgotten just how *good* the oldest Dune RTS' tracks are.
I still think Emperor's Harkonnen's tracks rock the most :P

@@CybranLord Ride the Worm - is one of my favourites from that game 🙂
Awesome!
Very nice work
This has Command and Conquer Generals vibes. To be fair, this is actually Command and Conquer style music.
It is no coincidence 😉 Frank Klepacki composed the music for both these games...

Dune 2 was before command and conquer... So C and C has dune 2 vibes..
Wow, it sounds like played on the Soundblaster 16 Midi X-Tra Epic Edition with Manowar-Add On. Gimme more! 😁
Cóż to Przemku tworzysz ? :) daję suba i +1
Dzięki! Jakieś sugestie co jeszcze chciałbyś usłyszeć? Szukam inspiracji...
