UFC Legend and former World Championship Wrestling star David "Tank" Abbott" talks about current WWE Champion Brock Lesnar being ultimately awarded a draw and suspension after failing the drug test in his last fight (Brock was KO'd in the first round his previous 2 fights.) Tank also gives his opinion on how Brock would do in the proposed Lesnar vs Cormier UFC fight in 2019.

Abbott didn't suck he just happened to start in a time with a lot of tough people. Plus in the UFC he would have to fight multiple people in 1 night. No doubt some cardio would have helped but he didn't suck.

To those calling him just a brawler tank abbot was a ncaa div 1 wrestler on 1 of the greatest wrestling teams ever after college he started hanging with bikers and pit fighting were he retired after his 50th fight all ko wins he blew out his knee right before his ufc debut and after that he quit shooting for takedowns as much and relied on his punching he reinjured his knee in the finals vs scott ferozo (his third fight in 1 night) that caused him to rely even more on the punching early on in the ufc tank was huge and weighed well over 280(bigger than brock) twice he made it to the tournament finals beating multiple fighters in the same night alot of his early losses were guys who literally ran away from him until he gassed thats something you cant do now in mma so he deserves respect his boxing is overrated though he hit hard when throwing hook combos he hit with the wrong knucklez like nate diaz often does he also drops his hands alot he has a good LEFT JAB AND STRAIGHT RIGHT though

I call it puffy (this is when they are clearly on a bulking cycle). I also liked how he said it gave you a false confidence. And that it does, that is true. And the point that by being off cycle for too long can affect that confidence level, again very true. There mind is bent on how weak they feel and how deflated or soft their body feels etc. This can totally mindfuck a lot of guys as they are paniced by questioning themselves, last minute. Which usually the case anyway for guys who don't use at all. Just the cutting of weight process can cause these mental hickups if not used to it. Let alone combine that mental difficulty when also being off cycle. A nightmare! Lol

Tank Abbott is probably my favourite fighter of all time when he didn't get medical clearance to fight Dan Severn a couple of years ago I was gutted but looking at him now I'm glad it never happened. I guess 20 years is a long time an legends get old.

Of course noone will ever know if Tank did any performance enhancing drugs but can say look at the strongest man competition and most of these power lifters look like Tank did in his prime. So it's possible to have natural super strength while looking like you eat nothing but cheese burgers and drink nothing but Guinness. Never underestimate your opponent expect the unexpected and be able to not only avoid but take alot of punishment if necessary.

Look at Schwarzenegger's head. He did steroids for 40 years and never developed the cranial enlargement. 3rd, Severn was probably the ONLY heavyweight from the early days not on gear, and 1/2 the guys today use some form of hormone supplementation. Frye, Coleman, Shamrock, Abbott, Mir, Silva, all were using gear.
