Tank mattered and just because he isn’t and never could have been on the level of a Stipe Miocic doesn’t diminish what he meant to the sport and how he helped elevate it to where it is today. I can agree that "fighting in the street" does help you learn to fight, along with professional training of course; Bar fighting, and other guard stuff definitely helps with honing physical experience of defense; from my own individual experience. Good stuff! haha

What year was this in ? From my recollection, Tank was the first mma fighter to really get pushed to the mainstream. He was pretty good at tv interviews etc, very charismatic...shame he never took training all that seriously, he could of been a legit talent.
