As an African, I'm so proud of this lady. One thing I have noticed over and over in these videos is how every African country imports as simple as doors and chairs from abroad. Why can't these billionaires invest in these things and produce them in Africa and take over the African market? Every country in Africa buys construction materials from abread almost 100%. What am I missing here?
The infrastructure of the building is beautiful. This decor is giving more French - Louis Era, ultra glam with heavily mirrored with too much gold accents which isn’t everyone’s taste… This style of decor isn’t a popular style abroad, that you would see in arch digest and such. With such large budget to decorate, in my opinion so much more could have been done to elevate the place and really bring out the elegance of the infrastructure of this mansion.

No, it's not a good thing. She needs to support her local economy! Importing everything you need damages your economy and put your country at an economic disadvantage.

I wouldn’t even call this a home, it doesn’t look lived in, it’s just a big house that looks like a furniture store inside (ugly furniture at that) and for $2 milli you have what looks like a $600 carport in the front of the house?!,and not a four or five car air conditioned enclosed garage out back?….N***a please!!! 😎….but at 35 she’s definitely doin her thang! 👍🏿

No doubt the design will appeal to many, but not my style. Too loud and busy for me. All those golden rimmed everything is just too much. Makes it seem like trying to hard! But indeed, this sort of thing is usually the Nigerian version of luxury.
This house is the height of tackiness, like wow!! Why build such a big house on such a small plot? Why not buy 2 plots and give yourself room for trees and lawn and especially, privacy from your neighbour who can easily see inside your house. The decor is 70s kitsch but, that's her style and taste.

The decor actually takes away from the home. Minimalistic classy pieces would have worked better, in my humble opinion. Too busy on the inside but the outside is lovely! Definitely inspiration for when building mine.

Nigerians have a similar style as Arabs, Pakistanis and Indians. Gold gives the illusion of wealth and is ostentatious and loud. I prefer more modern clean simple colours so gold would not be an option. Gold is very old fashioned but that's what many Nigerians like and it suits the old fashioned house& furniture this lady clearly prefers

I am sorry, everything about this screams NEW MONEY. Some parts are nice, but for me it's generally quite tacky and gaudy. I am not surprised though, because this is clearly her aesthetic as seen in most of her work. There's clearly a huge market for it, so good for her.

Such a house with no lash lawn.....my advice to the lady is to buy out the neighbours plot to the left create a lawn and a proper swimming pool. I really admire the ladys taste for finishing and interior design and decor. But the neighbourhood looks crammed for such an imposing and expensive house. She should have first bought land in a more exclusive neighborhood with generous space....to swing a cat(an idiom).
I see a lot of people commenting on the interior design, I agree that it's not good at all. But most africans like that style for some odd reason, so it's a taste I guess

I have seen at least 2 developers in Lagos who are doing amazing interior design and furnishings ,locally sourced.
The message is that Africa has nothing special or luxurious to offer, meanwhile other folks are happy to say they got furnishings from Africa

Such a house with no lash lawn.....my advice to the lady is to buy out the neighbours plot to the left create a lawn and a proper swimming pool. I really admire the ladys taste for finishing and interior design and decor. But the neighbourhood looks crammed for such an imposing and expensive house. She should have first bought land in a more exclusive neighborhood with generous space....to swing a cat(an idiom).
