i had one for almost 2 years before i lost it.... Just got another one used for just 160$, thats very cheap for what the camera does. The stabilizer is as good as Gopro 8, daylight this camera is pretty good. I use a small microphone and the audio is very good. And i use a chest mount, so the camera is most of the time always on my chest. I love this camera. Was hoping DJI released DJI osmo action 2, but none yet =( Strange cuz this DJI osmo action is on sale EVERYWHERE down to 40% off the price. DJI Norway offical site got it 45% off the normal price. Akai YT, if u can, get a used one for sure, they are so cheap now, and u can make awesome youtube videoes with it. Gopro 10 rumored to come soon will cost 2,5x more than this one for sure....
Yes! Why not? The Osmo Action is less expensive than GoPro, and you can make videos and take photos. Best thing is you can learn as you go and there are lots of tutorials (including mine🙂)!
We’re all waiting for a new Osmo Action but this is still holding up to even GoPro 9 since it has problems. I hope they come out with a newer one soon, but for now I’m still using this version because it’s very reliable. Thanks for watching and let me know if you’d like to see more tutorials on this or the Pocket 2!
Very nicely done. So I to have a couple of ND/CPL Filters, but haven't really "focused" on dialing it down just yet. But I will have to. Thanks again for this YT!
Yes! The ND and PL combo is awesome and I forgot the PL was something I already purchased as part of the ND sets. Try it and you’ll get some increased saturation and less glare in some instances. Thanks for watching!
Yes. Reflective light can be filtered in certain angles. It’s a photography principle that applies to video too! See this article: iceland-photo-tours.com/articles/camera-and-gear-reviews/a-guide-to-using-polarising-filters-for-photography-in-iceland#
I haven't used the Polarizing or ND filters in the water. I use the OEM/Factory lens when in water because that's what is recommended. If you want to use other lenses, get a waterproof housing just to be safe.
Good video. It is so important to stress that PL filters are not to be used for everything. They do require the right angles to work. Using them on for example a car or a bike, or when you walk around, is no bueno. Standing in one spot and filming is great with a bit of pan, that's fine, but for action shooing on the move stick to regular ND filters.
Do you get time to practice with your cameras?
Awesome tips. sure I can stop and fine tune things, sometimes you can not do those tuning.
In some instances, you might not be able to. In some, you can and I did! Thanks for watching!
Superb channel!!!
Wow! This comment made my day. Thanks for watching!
I wish you put recommended settings to compensate for the loss of light. However great video!😊
Thanks for watching!
Our heart-felt thanks to you again for sharing this knowledge to us. God bless you always and your family.
Wow! Thanks for watching, and for subscribing! More to come...
do you still recommend this action camera for beginners this 2021?
