Hey everyone! We wanted to clarify that in the video, we forgot to mention that Get Stuff'd is a 100% halal food truck. We sincerely apologise for the oversight.
I love Kabul House! It's hands down the best Afghan food in Sydney. I especially love their Kabuli Pulao, whole chicken and kebabs with rice or bread. They are so good!
Love ur videos...great content....pls review iraq foods in kebab abu ali in fairfield...especially their sheep kebabs and mixed platter n rice dishes...ur gonna Love it
@BucketListTravellers Thank you! I've known Merrylands for 35 years and I was surprised by some of the restaurants in your video and how nice they are. You might be interested in the Indian subcontinent food culture in Wentworthville, only a few Kilometres away from Merrylands.
Hi @periodicmotion, thanks for watching and I'm glad to hear that we have shared something new with you about Merrylands! Thanks for the suggestion about Wentworthville, it is now on our radar. We checked out Pendle Hill a month ago or so and there was a great Sri Lankan food scene there.
That’s really interesting-thanks for sharing! We love learning more about the history behind the food we try. I love falooda in all its forms and really happy to have finally tried the 'origin story' version! -Jon
I do recommend visiting Liverpool the mix of European Balkan food tour and other diversity and great coffee shop Also you have to make tour best of Indian food visiting Harris Park Parramatta also offering amazing food option 😊
Thanks for the recommendations! Liverpool and Harris Park are both on our list, I didn't realise the European Balkan aspect for Liverpool though, we'll look into it!
Must head back to Merrylands&when in Iran I never understood the noodle dessert&had no idea that Nepal adopted MoMo from Tibet although I didn't eat whilst there although areas like Rockdale are packed with Momo places I would like to know more about Concord as popped in recently and popped into a good gelateria, cheers
The faloode noodles are a bit of a peculiar idea, but it is sooo tasty!🤤 We were a bit unsure when we ordered it, expecting a drink like the Pakistani and Indian style, but very glad we tried it. Momo's are awesome, thanks for the suggestions too! We'll look into Concord. We haven't been there for a while but remember Abhi's as one of the best Indian restaurants in Sydney.
Thanks for pointing that out. You're right, Afghanistan is generally considered part of Central Asia or South Asia and considering it as 'Middle East' is an imprecise eurocentric view. We’ll be more careful with terminology going forward.
Great question and suggestion! We'll be putting together an Eastwood cheap eats together shortly, but will also collate what we have found over the last year. I'm sure you will agree it is a lot harder to find genuine cheap eats (ie.
@@BucketListTravellers Yes, finding anything less than $10 for food these days in sydney is hard. I also really enjoyed your Eastwood food video as well!
Yeah Get Stuffed was awesome! Their 'Get Stuffed' burger with 3 patties is the same price too! We also neglected to mention that they are halal burgers, another great feature that you don't get in too many food trucks in Sydney.
Thanks for watching @christophertran2433. There is so much amazing food to be eaten in Western Sydney! Got any suggestions for us for other amazing Western Sydney foodie hotspots?
@@christophertran2433 Yes, it definitely surprised us! We've been to Bankstown this year already, but only scratched the surface. Thanks for the suggestion!
The title of the video is very misleading and ignorant/racist. Not all brown people are the same. Most of these recommendations are not Middle Eastern food. Ps even though Iran is geographically part of the Middle East the food is not considered Middle Eastern but rather central Asian let alone Afghanistan or NEPAL 😅
Thanks for your comment and for bringing this to our attention. We definitely didn’t intend to mislead or cause offence. You’re absolutely right that not all of the cuisines we featured are strictly Middle Eastern, and we should have been more thoughtful with the title. We’ll make sure to better represent the diversity of food cultures we highlight in the future. This vlog was all about celebrating the unique flavours and cuisines of Merrylands, and we really appreciate your feedback! 😊

😂 Yes, it is pretty easy to make a mess of ourselves and expand our waistlines in the process! Our approach is to cover a lot of restaurants, rather than go deep in just one or two. We do also aim to pick the most popular dishes of each restaurant we visit.

Love your food reviews. Simple and honest, showing all sides of Sydney. Great work
Great review and great exposure of the area. Rich in diversity and cuisines. Thank you.
Thanks so much! Merrylands really does have so much to offer, and we’re glad we could help highlight that 😊. - Jon

Falooda originated from Persia that form was the closest to the authentic falooda form which got changed into a drink form in India and Pakistan

The Lebanese sweet that you commented on was fried egg noodles stuffed with pistachios
Thank you for clarifying that! It was delicious, and we appreciate the insight into the dish.
