In this video, you'll learn how Domain Name System (DNS) services allows a network user to reach a device on the Internet by only specifying the device's Fully-Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). Specifically, DNS can take an FQDN and translate it into an IP address, which can then be routed.
The content in this video is a sampling of the content in our "CompTIA Network+ Video Training Series," which is available to you on Udemy:

Thanks Kevin, all your videos are extremely informative and helpful sir.😊

This was on time. Thank you!
Just perfect!, thank you Kevin
So, authoritative name server is potentially on premise? Or maybe a better word is owned by the owner of the domain? For example, if I started a Windows domain in my home, spun up a Windows server and configured DNS, would that server be my SOA?
Very useful video Sir Kevin 👍
Domain Controller please! :)
Thanks Kevin

IP addresses are easier than DNS:) soon we will need a IP server to resolve the DNS, joking thanks Kevin I love your videos but this one out of scope for me.
