I’ve just started my 4th bullet journal. The other three have 2 or 3 months in them and then I got bored for too long to make it work again, or I didn’t like the way the pages looked or I just didn’t stick to it for some other stupid reason. Super wasteful, I know.. It’s been a couple of years since the last attempt, so I feel like I’m ready to try again. This time I’m making it super simple, no fancy headers or decorations that I will ultimately mess up and hate. I really like the idea of a bullet journal though, so I had to give it another try.

It’s super simple and focuses on productivity and organisation, not fancy fonts and stickers.

when I first started my bullet journal those journal pages that where the most pretty aesthetic things really really hurt my confidence but I started like this and over time have slowly developed my own style that I absolutely love it just takes time
as someone who used to beat themselves up for not following goals perfectly, the realizations were vital to my mental health: (1) that breaking a streak is no shame and your body/mind needs rest-- a day, a week, a month, a month and a half-- from whatever always, because we are not built for routines with no variety; and (2) that my problem was not to "stop making everything into a goal to feel self-worth" but rather to "stop see time i am unproductive as time wasted. if i enjoyed myself, then it wasnt a waste". its good to have goals. its good to follow them and have routines. its also necessary to be gentle with yourself and allow breaks without guilt. im a bit worried in ashley's "goal" about goals, but i have faith her journey will lead her where she needs to be. good luck, have fun, and be safe ♡♡♡
I've been wanting to make a bullet journal and stick to it for a long time but i can never commit to it because i'm such a perfectionist AND a procrastinator. Its a weird mix but its been my life problem for FOREVER. omg when you showed your fingertips I was so confused I thought that was my fingers on the screen and immediately looked at my hand lol thank you for showing it on the video I never saw anyone else doing this "anxiety peeling" thing and it was my little complex back then. I still do it(and actually doing it right now) but now I just don't care how ugly my hands look to others. it's definitely something to fix 'cause peeling your fingertips is the sign of depression but It's a relief to see someone have the exact same thing as mine.

Ashley! When you talked about picking at your cuticles I felt like I wasn’t alone in that. A good fix (for me at least) is getting acrylic nails, I find it that I don’t pick at my nails when they look good and I want to keep them that way. It really helped and then when they got a good length I got the gel stuff (that was clear) over my natural nails and it looks so good! You should try it :)
Great video☺️❤️ I have a little tip I use for the monthly page overview. Color code everything, have a separate color for work, personal stuff, health, birthdays, family related events etc. and then instead of writing everything in detail the monthly boxes (which can fill them up quickly) just make a line in said color and then in the weekly go into a bit more detail! It helps me a lot cause I don’t have to worry about filling up the days on the monthly spread! ☺️ Keep up the good work!💕

This was actually so helpful!! I've always felt kind of intimated by bullet journaling even though I really like to-do lists and the sort but your format really feels something I can do. And I would love an update video! Keep up the good work!
I also started bullet journaling because of falling down the bujo rabbit hole on youtube/ pinterest and was obsessed... I've never been good at diaries but something about the adaptability of bujos made them less intimidating and its actually been suprisingly therapeutic.

omg when you showed your fingertips I was so confused I thought that was my fingers on the screen and immediately looked at my hand lol thank you for showing it on the video I never saw anyone else doing this "anxiety peeling" thing and it was my little complex back then. I still do it(and actually doing it right now) but now I just don't care how ugly my hands look to others. it's definitely something to fix 'cause peeling your fingertips is the sign of depression but It's a relief to see someone have the exact same thing as mine.

김다현 I’m the same way. People I know get really mad at me for doing it but I can’t stop. I don’t even know if it hurts anymore. I just feel better, even though I know it’s hurting my hands. I really am happy to see that others deal with this too

I like sundays as s the start because I tend to have a lot of school, work or personal plans on sunday
@@LovelyDray in The Netherlands it also starts on monday but I know in Argentina it doesn't, so I guess it's depending on the country
in Russia weeks also start at Mondays, and for a long time I can't understand this American (or, I guess, some other countries have it too) system
your handwriting is the perfect amount of aesthetic for a bullet journal
Ashley! When you talked about picking at your cuticles I felt like I wasn’t alone in that. A good fix (for me at least) is getting acrylic nails, I find it that I don’t pick at my nails when they look good and I want to keep them that way. It really helped and then when they got a good length I got the gel stuff (that was clear) over my natural nails and it looks so good! You should try it :)

Great video☺️❤️ I have a little tip I use for the monthly page overview. Color code everything, have a separate color for work, personal stuff, health, birthdays, family related events etc. and then instead of writing everything in detail the monthly boxes (which can fill them up quickly) just make a line in said color and then in the weekly go into a bit more detail! It helps me a lot cause I don’t have to worry about filling up the days on the monthly spread! ☺️

I'd love to see a video on how you got into the f.i.r.e. lifestyle and maybe some of your favorite financial resources? Also how you manage daily finances ! When my life was more rigidly planned out in college I was way better at budgeting, but now that I've graduated and just have a bi-monthly salary I feel like I"m less motivated to be on top of those things.
Or like a video where you talk about how your financial style has changed? Not actual dollar values but like how you did the video of your fashion or dating life as it was and as it is now :)
