Am a new fan of LMH just days ago I found him on The King ang loved it , saw Heirs too, and Legend of the Blue Seas , not to mentioned Boys Over Flowers caused it’s an old movie, so excited to see the LMH of the 2020’s and found Pachinko but his participations so short , wish to see more of his acting , hope there will be soon.
I cried a lot watching this drama, it's like I am watching my own self. I can see my self to sunja. It's like I just go back to my past. My dad died when I was young and my mom struggled to raise us. Until I grow up and meet the man who broke my heart. Even up to this days. I can't believe how much pain I've been through. But I have to live for my mom and my siblings. 😢

I read this book 5 years ago and was so glad the movie gives it so much inspiration to learn past generations and appreciate the sacrifice and challenges of that era.
SO SO EXCITED FOR THIS SERIES! The book was absolutely amazing and a must-read, and the fact that both Lee Min-ho and Youn Yuh-jung are both gonna be in the drama means you know it's gonna be GOOD.
It helps to read the book first. Otherwise, one will not understand where each character is coming from. This drama is highly enjoyable once you know what it is all about! And K-drama fans will love LMH as antagonist for a change, a deadly handsome one at that! 😆

Sunja sounds so different from when she speaks Korean dialect in the film 😮 she has some resemblance with Kate Winslet type of elegance. Hope to see her more in the other films too!
I had high expectations for the show cause most of the shows on Apple TV+ are freaking awesome✨.They are just putting out in gem after another and I must say they didn’t disappoint .It’s a must watch on Apple TV+ and you can also watch other great stuff there😇
The book was very readable and could not be put down. Early dramas are very fond of different cultures, different stories and therefore interesting to me, now I’m curious about the Pachinko series, LEE MIN HO for acting and others.💙💙💙💯

The struggles and hardship endured by the Korean people and to bring it to light decades later with collaboration of different Asian Americans from all walks of life specifically between Koreans and Japanese, I have to say its very beautiful. A dark history in which the journey results in something that Koreans and Japanese can foster together with. I hope both countries can become closer by understanding each other's past and cultural upbringing, it will truly be magical. They are neighbors after all and they share many more similarities than meets the eye. And sometimes all it takes are meaningful films like this to help us understand each other's histories in a new light.
