A well tackled interview Mr President. She tried putting him on the spot but she ended up being the uncomfortable one. Everyone can see that the interview didn't go as she had hoped for it to. Another way of changing the image of Nigeria compared to the past president who usually avoided such interviews and where he couldn't always floundered. Nigeria is on the path to victory.

There are Nigerians who are Muslims and there are Nigerians who are Christians. There are Nigerians who are neither, but the fact of the matter is that Nigeria is a secular state. Our Country does not have a religious identity!

My President Buhari is doing a great job. I love your comments and totally understand your views on making Nigeria Great. it is unfortunate that a lot of us do not have that mental ability to understand the current situation of Nigeria before making senseless comments. I am glad My president has the ability and confidence to focus strictly on the issues that will make Nigeria better. it is clear that our previous government did not invest in the future of Nigeria, and this is also our problem as Nigerians, many of us do not learn to invest for our future but concerned solely of our selfish interest and that is what that mentality has brought the state of our economy today. President Buhari is the best Man who thinks strictly of our Future and working hard for a great Nigeria

Buhari is clearly under alot of pressure - who won't be in a country like Nigeria. Having to fight entrenched corruption, ailing economy, declining reserves, low power generation, mono economy, insecurity, and saboteurs both local and international.
Just imagine the scale of problem: Boko haram, Biafra, Ethnic clashes, Oil price crash, Naira devaluation, artificial fuel scarcities, and most the most frustrating of all a Judiciary and house of senate that is frustrating and truncating prosecution and judgement of the corrupt! All these could easily make anyone go crazy... Hell has simply been let loose on the country Aha ha...
Corruption does really fighting dirty! But in the end Nigeria will surely overcome and emerge stronger!

If my president can be welcomed in different countries that's a respect. If boko haram can no longer operates freely that's success. Go back and think. I have read many discouraging comments on this video, but i question what people actually want to hear.
He answered all questions posed to him without mincing words, Not even on IMF Advice since Nigeria has no benefit to derive from it whatsoever.
If you are capable of buying dollars to fund anything abroad at any rate, then go ahead otherwise look inward/local.
Do not forget as Burea de change agents and you get involved in this manipulations, you will surely be dealt with.
"It is Nigeria that matters" He said.
What does mean that "you Failed" as regards Boko Haram issue.
14 LG were Held , none is being held now.
People of the North East know better as he claims he has not failed.
Biafra questions made Buhari to ask this lady "' How much does the oil cost Now..... ?"
Let us all be reasonable and criticize fairly and act as such. put politics aside , but #Nigeria forward.
We are all involved., Nothing must go wrong with #Nigeria

Thank you all for your contributions, Abacha Loothed over $150 billion dollars and our system still worked, we are not counting what Babangida looth, or the oil blocks he assigned to his associates, Obasanjo did same, and Abdulsalami recovered Abacha looths and did worst, but none of them crumbled the economy because we have had leaders that strieve for the betterment of Nigeria even with there heavy corrupt image. But on this issue all we here is the former government looted too much for the country to move forward, so I asked, who has the biggest assets in Nigeria Tinubu an APC person, never tried, never will, who looted Nigeria most Babangida, never tried never will, who assigned more oil blocks to his friends even his girl friend Babangida never tried, rather Buhari paid him a visit, even though Buhari was suppose to face Genocide for the coup he ploted to take over a civilian government from Shagari no body is talking of it, what a leader we choose, he lacks administrative knowledge simple.

The truth of the matter is that the challenges faced by our dear nation, Nigeria are not product of present-day politics or polities. How however controversial his tenure may appear, the problems at hand are far more complicated. He certainly seems less enthusiastic and I can say that the statement about 'tough luck' (however sad, is true). On the other hand, he could have seized the moment to talk about his plans for education (if at all he has any). His stand about the devaluation of the naira and his resolve to refuse the IMF's 'advice' is on the long run for the benefit of the country as a whole.
Moral of story: we need young people in power (male and female). Young people are the majority of the populace. The degree of caricature politics amongst Nigerian politicians is lamentable. Take note people, stand as ONE (not tribes).
I think young, qualified, tested and vibrant Nigerians should create a party and try to avoid carpet-crossing politicians that will sink whatever values they may have with corruption and greed. Nigerian politician (for the most part) cannot even say what strand of politics they subscribe to. Are we liberals or communists? And please, revive agriculture and other sectors. The thought/belief of being able to cater for 170 million people by producing commodity that is FINITE and characterized by prices determined by external factors is more pure madness.
People wake up.. I have to commend his bravery to go against the IMF. They don't want us to rise. They tell you to devalue your local currency, change local policies for your benefits but by doing so, you expose your economy to western MNCs.
PS, before you argue, do your research. And please do away with profanities.

If Buhari fails to deliver on his campaign promises, then come 2019 we boot him out. But let's see what they can achieve within 4 years. The main thing i can say is its not "Business as usual". Let him ride his 4 years and if he fails, we can all vote him out.. The country belongs to all of us.

I find his comments on people trying to educate their children abroad, even as he does the same, quite cold and callous. It reveals a certain uncaring character and just like the presenter said "tough luck" to them since the government won't fund others but fund his own children. So sad that Nigeria fell for the lies that got him elected. Strangely, some people will happily support him even when his policies kill them.

The people surrounding Buhari don't just have it and Buhari himself doesn't have it. Changing a country require much more than discipline, it required patriotism, intelligence and a team that are passionate and has the same interests as the president.

I have watched this video, I cant see where PMB would be said to have performed badly. He speaks good english, eloquently. Do not gesticulate. All these questionings about his educational background is needless.
There are challenges and he has been able to answer questions perfectly about them without really fumbling. About the Biafra thing, he said that they should organise themselves politically and vote for what they want, but, interfering with the security of the country cannot be tolerated.I dont think he is out of place with that answer. 2019 no be today, PDP can only return about that time if they will.
We have to pray for him. His body language shows that he wish to make things better but there are obvious challenges.
When its time to change a flat tire, it is loosened from the car 1st b4 changing. At that time of loosing, the car is incapacitated & cant move. So is it. trying to bring in change, some things could possible go out of order in order to bring them to the desired order. things would be better, I see it.

The journalist did her homework and asked poignant and thoughtful questions but the lady killed it with the IMF point she tried to make- DEAD ON ARRIVAL, in my view. We have learned from the IMF's SAP and other bright ideas from them which led us (courtesy of daft rulers), to this point while Malaysia, Singapore and other nations scorned them and and are far better for it.
True, the black market issue is there but from our decade-long dance with the IMF, I would rather the president sits with manufacturers, micro-finance banks, the SME representatives, SMEDAN an they find a way to get Nigerian factories and manufacturers provide cheaper options than all we get from Abroad. The world will not wait for us- if we don't fill the void of goods by ourselves, China will sweep and there will be no going back. We must not miss our last chance at an industrial revolution.
Buhari did not get the ISLAMIC army question- the Nigerian army and its dealings should be secular just like the nation is, theoretically. There are already international alliances like NATO and ECOMOG fighting insurgency and radical Islam all over so we have no business joining a group of countries that are Islamic, in name and law, to fight anything.
Nigerian citizens have the right to say they want to opt out of the arrangement as an indigenous people. International law allows them that no matter what we want personally. Take the idea of Scottish independence for instance- after the experience of the IRA, UK was speaking of a referendum and not beating war drums.

It's embarrassing that my president does not know about his own budget.
And his Agric Ministry receives less budgetary allocation than Min of Information while planning on IMPORTING GRASSES FROM BRAZIL. How is this in line with diversifying the economy that he blames the past govt for not focusing on (which in effect they did)..... 85% of oil block owners are Northerners and to remind you, Mike Adenuga's Con oil has six oil blocks , each of them produces more than 200,000 barrels of crude per day, at the recent dollar rate $39.00 dollars x 200,000 barrels per day, my friends kindly do the math. Jonathan don't own any neither Diezani, If I where to change this country I will start by handing over all oil blocks owned by Nigerians to the FG, am not an PDP or APC none of them worth my vote, because they don't practice true democracy in Nigeria but authocracy and gradually we are withnessing a military rule as in the south south all Tompolo relatives are been chansed by the EFCC while them Obasanjo, Babangida, Atiku, Abubakar, Abdulsalami, Abiola's, Buhari's are relaxed, my people Fela was right, cos he stroked including Buhari in his music, for the record Russia was divided into five countries, so Biafra are not doing anything wrong, I wonder how real people like Ojukwu saw this way back in the sisties, we are not One Nigeria, I feed the nation, I have the oil, and others owns the blocks, and I cant stand up for my right when I did they said I am corrupt so I asked who is entitled to loot Nigeria's money, North , south , east or West. Before we talk about a "One Nigeria" or whatever that means, people need to take a deep look at the 1999 Constitution.
We had a national conference 2014. Yes, you may call the conference illegal, but at the end of the day the stakeholders involved where from every part of Nigeria, not just the South East. Also, the recommendations put forward, benefit everyone, not just the Igbo.
Fix the 1999 Constitution, do a real census, and you'll actually see this country make REAL PROGRESS. Because at the end of the day, if we don't do this, we're just applying Band-Aids to a situation that really needs surgery.
