May God help him to help us. Thank you Mr. President-elect. President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GEJ, thank you for laying the foundation of GOOD democracy with common sense in Nigeria. History will remember what you did. You made Africa and the Black race proud. I think God is remembering Nigeria now. Thank you God.

@@bendavidson3295 It was easy to see. Nigeria has been doing the opposite of what makes a country great, so the result would be inevitable - and easily predictable. One of the secrets for the progress of Advanced Nations is Decentralized economy. Decentralization is the principle whereby each State develops their own natural resources and control their own destiny. With this practice, Rivers State, for instance, will have complete (100%) control of their oil wealth. But Northern power structure is only interested in controlling Nigeria's wealth, that why is they stubbornly resisted the idea decentralization. By centralizing Nigeria's economy, the Federal Government made it virtually impossible to diversify the economy. Depending on one resource means that the country would crash when oil is no longer in hot demand. We are seeing that now. With Buhari as President, I knew that the Fulani-Hausa power structure were never going to relinquish the strangle hold on Nigeria's oil wealth. That's why the prediction was easy.
All is fair in electioneering campaigns. People called their President "dumb" and called a Nigerian General "illiterate". We all know it was all mud slinging to garner votes. Both have their fair share of inaccurate judgements. While GEJ voted N7b to address a critical issue of National structure, that amount could not solve the Lecturers' demands which required over a trillion Naira to address. So priority should have perspective. While the ASU strike was critical, national structural imbalances has been begging attention for National dialogue since the end of the civil war. Buhari as a northern, may have good reason for playing down the importance of a National conference, but let's keep it in perspective: N7 billion does not compare to N1 trillion.
Chidi Adabanya Yes national structure and imbalance is too crucial for even GEJ to play politics with, or how come he could not run with the CONFAB report as soon as they finished. It's now obvious he meant to use that to boost his chances of coming back, so the all-well perspective N7b CONFAB went down the drain because GEJ ambition was of more value to him than what we want as a nation,. After all, if we eventually get good governance and equity, who will care about who comes from where and brings what to the table called Nigeria? YOU WILL BE A PROUD NIGERIAN ANY DAY good governance takes place across this great nation!
Pitahappy Nigeria is fortunate to have GMB succeed GEJ. Jonathan's actions after elections does not suggest that his "ambition was of more value to him than what we want as a nation" as you posited. Quite the opposite. I only moderate my expectations because of our democratic structure and independence of the judiciary. Buhari is very capable and quite clear of his mission and goals. I hope the Nigerian system allows him to succeed for our collective benefit.
Truly in total agreement. At this point in time Nigeria needs a leader like GMB and going by his previous accomplishment as a past Head of State of FRN and his perseverance as a politician and have read his plans and manifesto after being elected, I strongly believe that he is the right guy for the leadership. Please Nigerian all over the world we need to give GMB a chance(s) to rule and support him.@EjimNgozi (twitter), #Buhari, #Nigeria decides.
This Guy has no plans for Nigeria, he is just evading all the questions being posed by the interviewer. Nigeria may have made a huge mistake voting buhari, time will tell.

The buhari's interview is a total waste of time, but if you dont mind wasting your precious time, then listen to the cluelessness and the result of lack of basic education displayed by muhammadu Buhari.
