Oh man, sir. They do an AMAZING concert. I've been to so many. Country, rock, hip hop. Snoop. Em. 21 pilots. Green Day. These guys were the MOST fun concert I've ever been to.
Zac Brown Band is definitely country. They’ve got a bit of that rockabilly sound Travis Tritt and others helped mainstream back in the 80s and 90s, and they use it so well!
My personal favorite by The Zac Brown band is "Free/Into the Mystic ". It's an original by them mixed with a Van Morrison classic. It is what I calla Sunday driving, with the top down song.
They came to Iraq while I was deployed there. Unfortunately, we had to run missions during their performances - always regret not being able to see them there.
Much like Garth Brooks, a Zac Brown Band concert is a rock show. The music may be (mostly) country, but the show is pure rock concert. And the reason I say "mostly" country is because they usually have some covers in there, like Metallica or Rage Against the Machine. The most "country" instrumentalist (the fiddle player) is the one that sings RATM when they play it.
I've been to 13 zbb shows. It is hands down not mostly country. They have addressed that many times too. The industry groups musicians together in genres. They don't look at themselves as country...that's where they were predicted to sell the most records. It is southern rock
The Zac Brown Band is there actual name and they are a country music group some of their greatest songs are Chicken Fried, Toes and Colder Weather there are a few great others as well
The song is about some of the simplest things in life that a large portion of people love. Some good fried chicken, cold beer on a Friday night, jeans that fit JUST right, the radio up, love in your woman's eyes, touch of a precious child, and a mother's love.
A crazy story, my girlfriend and her ex husband opened a restaurant in Atlanta and these guys played their opening! Apparently they were awesome guys and they killed it. Then they blew up!!!

Knees deep is really good, but I honestly don't like this song. Nothing against it in and of itself, but it was/is played to death, revived, and played again lol.

Love me some ZBB. I have seen them 3 times. They are an awesome "jam band". They do EVERYTHING. Most of their songs are country-ish. They also throw in Enter Sandman by Metallica, Piano Man by Billy Joel etc. Instead of "meet and greets" at shows with his fan club members, he started "eat and greets". (sadly currently suspended I think you can guess why) He had a mobile race car hauler converted into a kitchen with a chef that traveled with him and would cater a meal for his fan club members in each town. Zac also founded a camp in Georgia called Camp Southern Ground for kids to have fun. A couple years ago the camp branched out with a wing for soldiers returning home and help disabled veterans. Ok more ZBB: "Toes", "Colder Weather", "Highway 20 ride", "Heavy is the Head", "Knee deep (with Jimmy Buffett)", "My old man", "Who knows" (10 minute jam session)
Zac Brown is from Cumming, GA. He’s been picking guitar since he was 3 years old. I lived in Cumming, GA for a few years but not while he was there. I’m from Minnesota and I have lived in several states during my 66 years of life and Georgia is my favorite state and I love Atlanta! I’m still a true Minnesotan but GA is so beautiful!
Zac Brown is from Dahlonega. Love him & the band. They do beautiful ballads, sad love songs, and so many fun -bright songs. Colder Weather is still my favorite.
love Zac Brown Band...I dont know if they still do this but they used to have a big trailor at their concerts with a full kitchen and zac Brown and his band would cook food for all his fans...good people great music!
This is my first comment on any of your reactions but seeing you jump into Zac Brown Bands discography is enough to convince me to comment. ZBB is my all time favorite band and for good reason. They don’t have a specified genre as they experiment with all different themes and varieties of music. I’ve seen ZBB 6 times in concert and nobody can even compare to the performances that they put on. They are absolutely incredible musicians. I recommend checking out “Let it go”, “As she’s walking away” “lances song” “junkyard” and “wild palomino” to start your journey into ZBB’s music. Hope you see this and trust me enough to check out their stuff.. Keep up the great reactions man!
I've always been a huge fan of ZBB and one of their hidden jems of a song is Roots also if you've ever seen the movie The Greatest Showman they actually got to do a cover of the song From Now On.
This is an example of why I prefer studio recordings. The audio is cleaner and there is less interference from the audience. I don't want to hear the crowd sing the song, I want to hear the professional sing it.
I got the tickets. June 17 at the new braves stadium. This was the house band a my local bar on Friday nights for a year. They crush. Zac is a super guy who spends his efforts to make the world a better place. Look up camp southern ground.
I wanna hear some Old Crow Medicine Show if you're feeling folksy bluegrass. "Big Time In the Jungle" is one of my favorites. And you can't forget everyone's favorite to throw on the jukebox at the bar "Wagon Wheel".

I've seen them 6 or 7 times at least. They play Atlanta a lot. They always put on a great show. Best concert I ever saw was before they made it big, in an old church in Gainesville. Was maybe 75 people there, and it was mostly the bands friends and family. So good.
Coy Bowles, the guitar player/songwriter for Zac Brown Band is from my home town and I met him on the river one day. Real cool dude. He partook in writing "Colder Weather" which I recommend reaction to. They have some dope songs for sure.
Zac Brown started a camp called Camp Southern Ground in Georgia! The Camp is used for kids! But there is other things being built at the camp to do other things! I seen where it's being used for veterans at this time! I know 3 or 4 years ago The treehouse builders built a pretty big treehouse there!
They are AMAZING in concert! I saw them every year from 2013 to 2018 (Including while 8 1/2 months pregnant in 2014!) and it is just an incredible experience! Zack Brown went to Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia north of Atlanta. Their song highway twenty ride hits really close to home for me and probably many more divorced fathers for the way it invokes the pain of father separated from his children.
Anything zbb is great from the first 2 albums really their cover of devil went down to Georgia to originals like colder weather/ free even newer stuff like homegrown are amazing their latest hit is same boat
Zac comes from mountain music heritage and grew up playing a variety of musical instruments. He did have his band geek phase at good ole Lumpkin County High School. Not a direct acquaintance, but I know families from the area. Moonshine and the local version of Booger Hollow played a part in his musical development.
Its funny how everyone who grew up in Ga in the 2000's has a "when I saw Zack Brown playing a private party" story. Those guys really paid their dues around Atlanta before they hit it big.

@@codyhop193 I have a asshole drunk Friend who kept yelling Freebird after every song while Zack was playing a house party at Lake Oconee. It didn't end in violence but got real close. Now he has a great story of when he almost got in a fight with the entire Zack Brown Band before they were famous.

I've been to 2 of Zac brown band concerts. They have great shows. Leaf singer just has a natural voice and great energy. I recommend their concert

We partied with them and they performed on a friends houseboat in Ga in the early 2000’s. They’re amazing folks. Humble and down to earth.
