If you go into your bag, you can basically carry as much as you want if you craft everything you stumble across. Like 3 long sticks and 5 sticks and 2 small sticks...all at once! !! 🤟
He’s in a better place now. Tree heaven, lol. I sort of agree that it’s so much easier with mods but where’s the satisfaction when you can just magic things into the game. I remember feeling proud of the things I built because of the work that went into them.

But for me, I have been shut down on my builds due to the issues green Hell has when it comes to building what you want. It doesnt make sense sometimes when it refuses to allow me to put second floor frames in for no apparent reason. Steam says I have 830 hours in this game now, I think I have done my apprenticeship, its time to mod

@@UnkemptGamer Looking at your finished work, I know how much effort you put into it. For me, building with mud is quite challenging. I give up too easily. Last time, I gave up because I couldn't find coconuts to gather and store water... This game is very demanding.
@@UnkemptGamer Somewhere on the internet I found a tip that you can throw stones at the coconut canopy, which I tried but to no avail, no coconut fell down, which was quite obvious because I didn't notice any coconuts growing on many palms... Without coconut shells and bidons collecting fresh water and staying hydrated is almost impossible. Once, I even encountered a native making loud calls and noises, which at first really scared me, it literally gave me the creeps... It was a bowman, he was trying to kill me with his weapon and I had to get rid of him first, with a spear... But frankly, most often jaguars get rid of me in the first place - even if I win the fight, the wounds are too deep to survive 😅

I rarely use charcoal for fires, since the initial ignition handles most of my needs, and you use so much for the smeltery, but thes are good builds, this one in particular makes me feel like I should redo my base where you built yours. *ponders*

While I’ve never played The Forest, I’ve seen a few hours of gameplay of it and I much prefer this game. Don’t get me wrong, The Forest is a polished game, but the survival aspect of Green Hell is what keeps me coming back!
They haven't given a specific date but they *did* confirm in a tweet that it's coming! If you want some ideas on places to build I have SOA1 and SOA2 playlists, and I build in SOA in my most reason Joy of Building series.

As soon as you walk up the hill, cross the log and walk forward there’s a jaguar spawn but it won’t ever wander into the oasis
