Ive got the same torque wrench and its good but throwing it around like you do i would not use it on engine work ill bet its off from being thrown and vibration
What sort of jobs do you do mobile? How does it work? Customers call and set up a time and place to do the job and how long of a time frame you have with it?
I do just about any job other than engine or trans swap mobile. I tell them when my availability is and if that works for them we schedule the appt. I also tell them what the labor time is so they know how long to plan for the car being unusable
Anywhere from 100 to 300 a day sometimes more. Depends on how much you wanna work. And I personally would consider one of those trucks a downgrade because the gas mileage is worse and they are less secure due to tools being in the bed vs inside the van.
@@Andys_Auto you're much better off with a small van like a transit custom than a truck. You've got a bulkhead and can put exterior locks on it, and there's enough room to mount a small bench and have a seat to work on stuff in a vise rather than on the floor holding it with your feet. Obviously you're doing it on the cheap but if you wanna get real professional in the future they'll take around a ton of weight so you can expand your tools with pretty much no worries. I'm not in the industry yet but i think id rather be mobile than in a shop as with the economy as it is it takes all the stress and pressure off you as a business, I'll be working out of a van 100%.
In this video, you said you don't like your long reach hose clamp pliers? I have the same one and their from orally and very expensive for not being good like you said. What hose clamp pliers would you recommend getting? the knipex ones?
Unfortunately I don't have a brand to recommend thats not expensive as I haven't tried any. I'm sure snap on makes a good one. I just know that the one I have sucks ass lol
@@Andys_Auto oh ok, I have the same hose clamp pliers as you but haven’t used them. I don’t know what other ones to get and I don’t have access to a tool truck because I don’t know where they are and I’m in a wheelchair so I don’t know if I can get on one. I like your channel! Such helpful information! Definitely subscribed!! Thank you for sharing yo!!
Get a set of Mayhew 28680 hose clamp pliers, French made but they are the same as the Snap-On remote ratcheting hose clamp pliers as they make them for Snap-On, the Snap-On mechanism is straight up the Mayhew has them to the side but they are effectively identical except you can get the Mayhews for between 1/4-1/2 the price of the Snap-On.
Neat setup. I've had to do something similar. It does drive me crazy how unorganized it is though.
Hell yeah, looks like you can fit all the gear you require into a minivan/mid size SUV
Great set up. Hope you have a healthy happy life brother.

Very nice setup man!
Very well equipped
Very nice set up thanks for sharing
good job
My current solution is to keep everything in its blow-molded cases, but I feel like this can only last for so long
Wow interesting. Believe it or not I have the majority of your tools. I acquire them as I needem. Thanks
Those are safety wire pliers to twist wire on bolt heads with holes in them to keep them from coming loose or falling off
Very nice 👌
great content! I love the vid. I hope to do something like this in the near future
Thanks man! Don't hope. Make it happen brother!

@@Andys_Auto where can I send you a much better one?
Good video except for the rattle snake make noise throughout the video.
Thanks man. Working towards getting a mic so the sound quality will be better. Coming soon my friend.
it's the countryside most likely, it'll be crickets and such.
I like dirty tools that is mean you are working
What kind of money do you usually make? Do you plan on upgrading to a 3/4 or 1 ton with a utility bed?

If you don't have access to a tool truck you can still order snap on online.
