Charming little watch! Looks like they've reused the case from my Janata with the devanagari lettering. I suppose that's a smart move to have multiple SKUs sharing the same components.
Yeah that was my initial thoughts too as this is stainless steel while most of the others are brass.
They should make a hmt himalaya like dail watch with kohinoor like case and market it like a cheap quartz diver with no bezel

Did you try any casio rubber/resin type 16mm strap on this to give it a wider strap look?
Haven't tried.
Even though i wish HMT focuses more on providing budget hand wound watches which they're charging more than for an automatic one and with even poor specifications like brass case, this quartz one for under 600 is quite a good deal given the stainless steel back. Timex, sonata all have brass ones in this price range.

I would say maybe get the metal one. But its not in stock right now. So you could consider this one in case it also sells out. Right now its on a nice 50% sale plus in this cheap price you might not find a Stainless Steel case. I think I will get the bracelet one as well when it comes back in stock.

This a great watch for sure, only thing i am not a fan of is the ring on the case, i like the seamless design of the original more.

It will be hard to find 16mm steel bracelet for this. Best option is to check on the Facebook groups i mentioned in the other video to see if someone is selling them.

Is there any available strap options to buy for 16mm?
I have seen some on Flipkart but smaller straps under 20mm are harder to find.
