- Here are a few common mistakes which may be hampering the progress you want to see with your skin care routine.
❌Using too many products🧴
When you later too many products you are essentially diluting the agents. You may not be able to see results. It is best to treat the top two concerns first. This way you can reduce the number of products used.
❌Not reapplying sunscreen☀️
You are using the best skin care products but if you are not protecting your skin from the sun, you will not be able to notice improvement. Reapplication is important especially if you are outdoors or sit next to a window or drive long distances .
❌Changing products too quickly
Any active agent requires at-least 4-6 weeks to see results. If you are switching products too quickly, you are not giving it enough time to work.
❌Over exfoliation🧼
This is a common problem due to the increasing number of products with AHA and BHA. If you have dry skin or normal skin , twice a month exfoliation is enough. For oily skin or combination , once a week is adequate. If you have sensitive skin, stay away from exfoliation.
❌Not using a good moisturiser 🧴
Moisturiser is the most important part of any skin care routine. If you are using serums but not luring it with a good moisturiser, you skin will not feel hydrated or healthy. There are many types of moisturisers to suit all skin types. Every skin requires a moisturiser.
❌Not focusing on healthy diet🥗
We often overlook the impact of diet and lifestyle on our skin and overall health. Try to take diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables with a healthy balance of protein, carbohydrates and fats. Low sugar and low salt intake is encouraged.
❌Not exercising regularly 🏋️♀️🧘♀️
There are studies to indicate that even exercising 4 hours a week for a month can positively change the way your skin looks. Regular exercise helps in controlling stress, improves blood circulation to skin and makes you look and feel younger.

Vitamin C is really good for my skin. I am using this litttleextrea rice berry Vitamin C face serum for about a month and can see visible results on my spots & blemishes around my chin. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and is fragrance-free. Only issue is with the pump, as the serum sticks to the pump making it sticky, which can lead to some product wastage. Overall, a great beginner-friendly Vitamin C serum for those who are sceptical to start Vit C in their skincare journey. Highly recommended.

I have sensetive eczema acne prone skin and I'm taking treatment from my dermatologist from past 1 and half year..when I started my treatment I only had eczema on my face but later on I started getting acne(comedones) . He gave me Acne zn face wash with Clindamycin allantoin gel and adapalene gel. I've been using these from past 3 months and my acne are not healing. These products have damaged my skin barrier completely and now I don't know what to do. 4 days ago I went to another dermatologist and she gave me episoft sunscreen but when I applied it on my face it started burning. My Dermatologist is doing abrocitinib trial on me so I can't consult with another dermatologist till November.
