I rarely buy the first iteration of any product and instead wait til the kinks are ironed out. The litter catch mat should match the unit instead of being white, the fabric like cushion on the inside looks questionable, that looks extremely hard to clean and probably should be some sort of heavy duty replaceable liner. Not sure about this company but sometimes companies make products without actually having owned cats. That fabric liner gives me pause. It is most absolutely gorgeous to look at, and they are counting on people buying with their eyes....the LR is ridiculously big and not as pleasing to look at.
I get what you are saying but it is easier to clean that it appears. It looks like "fabric" but its really durable and easily cleaned. Ive reviewed a lot of smart litter boxes over the years. I am currently using this one for my cat and it is working great. PLUS it is the most attractive one Ive really seen. The catch mat is more of a light gray. Even though it doesnt match the unit, it does kind of hide the litter so you can't really see it.
What about leaks? I read many automated litter boxes suffer from it, because the inside is not sealed high enough when cats decide to piss higher. How high are the seals?
I havent had any issues with leaks but I understand what you are talking about. The height of the seal on this one is not very high.
Love mine, and my 3 rescues too ❤. It's my first automatic litter box, worth the investment, a must have, thinking of getting another one from Amazon 🎉❤

It looks small inside. Can a cat fully stand and bathroom in a normal position? Or do they have to crouch to fit?
My cat typically goes in, turns around, and puts paws up on the ledge and does his business... with his head sticking out of it. But, with all the other smart boxes I have had, he has always done that (and the other boxes have been bigger) so Im not sure if it is the size of my cat OR that is his preference. Hope this helps!
But if that water had been poop it would be smeared all over the side of the inside of the litter box.. 😬 Have you had any problems with that?
I get what you are saying but I haven't had problems with that. The litter makes the waste clump and then the clumped litter makes its way into the waste bin during the clean.
@@StephanieKauffman Ok, thanks for letting me know! I’m considering buying one but without trying it, it seems like it might be harder to clean than a regular litter box at first. Based on my research pawbby and litter robot 4 seem to be the best options. Thanks for the video feedback!
What is in that deodorizing container? Are there scents of any kind that could injure people with scent allergies?

I find there is very little to no smell at all with them and I have a very sensitive nose.
