iPad 7 Bootlooping with iTunes Error 9 Code. How To Fix with JC P7 NAND Programmer

- This iPad 7 A2197 came in because it was bootlooping, only Apple logo. When trying to Update or Restore, we received Error Code 9. On 3u Tools, it failed at 20% "Updating NAND Firmware".
This all points to the NAND being corrupted & dead. Only solution is to replace it, which requires microsoldering.
We go through the process of removing NAND, reballing NAND, using JC P7 to reprogram the NAND, using JC P13 to program the SN, WiFi & BT & much more.

Hey jesse! I've seen an issue like this with the 4gb NAND Xbox 360, Its basically where the write function on the NAND fails, but the nand will still read no problem. great video buddy! :)

I have a question
The old hard drive was not read by JC and you dropped the new hard drive and then after turning on the phone, it entered the serial number and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth serial number.
Where did you get the serial number and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth serial number of the broken hard drive and insert it into the new hard drive?
You can buy from many places. But this only works for iPad 7 wifi model in this case

You can now recover the serial info using JC P7 and JCID Drawing Software

Did the hard disk need to be replaced? Could the hard disk be repaired with a programmer? That way we can use the same hard disk if we don't have any laying around?
The NAND was replaced because it went bad
@@VCCBoardRepairs sorry that is what I meant. The NAND, is it possible to remove it and flash (repair) it with a programmer? And use the same Nand? Or is replacing the only option? Since it's only data corruption and not physical damage.
I heard it's possible but I would rather replace it to ensure a reliable repair

Hi, my iPad7 does not charge and it does not turn on. The nand voltages (1.8, 0.9 and 3.3) are unstable...the other voltages seem ok....any ideas? Thanks

@@VCCBoardRepairs thank you for your answer, I just retested but I no longer have all the voltages arriving at the nand...I have the main vcc and the bat vcc and also the 1.8v always from the U8100. Maybe the 8100 hs or more likely the cpu? thanks again

Do you know what NAND Apple are using in latest devies? I noticed that NANDS in Air 5, iPhone 14 (Pro), Apple TV 4k 2022 are smaller than let's say Air 4, iPhone 13 (Pro) and so.

if i get an error 4013 initially and then tried fix flash i now get error 1101, is it a NAND problem?

Hi Jessie! You mention about rotation after nand replacement. I tried to upgrade my iphone 11 pro 64gb to 256gb, but unfortunately first the 256Gb nand was pulled from iphone x, so i can't use it. secondly I damaged my original nand. I recover my phone with JC P13 used unbinding an other 64Gb nand from iPhone 11 donor board, so get my phone original SN and wifi/bt data. But after all repair process phone working just my taptic engine vibrating loudy and have problem with orientation. Do you know how can I fix this issue?
You have to write a generic SYSCFG from JC software. Select the model on the left & click "WRITE SYSCFG"
Then edit the SN, WiFi, BT, model, color info and restore again

the lcd digitizer tip is good. but BE CAREFUL because if that lcd slides over and touches any exposed tesa or something, you are gonna need a new lcd xD trust me. also, if you have any ways to clean tesa residue from an lcd without destroying the lcd, lmk :)
