Don't Break The Glass! How To Remove an iPad Screen Without Cracking The Screen. Step By Step Guide

  • Need to get inside an iPad to get to the Charging Port, Tristar or something else on the logic board, but don't want to break the perfectly good screen? Well, we have made this video where we go over our technique to remove the screen with no damage. You can find our tool list below
    ✫Heat Pad (Latest Version): amzn.to/39e2q8n
In the video, we cover what tools we use & how we go about it. It's a full video with nothing left out. The iPad we used in the video is an iPad 6 (Model# A1893), but this technique will apply to virtually any iPad model, including, iPad Air, iPad 5, iPad 7, iPad 8, iPad Mini 1, Mini 2, Mini 3.
Unlike other videos you may find on TH-cam, where they have already removed the glass, so the demonstration done in the video looks easy, we use a factory sealed iPad 6, which has never been open before.
For iPads that have the LCD fused to the digitizer, the steps are the same, although you have to be more careful with how far you insert your tool, as you can damage the LCD in the process.
    Here's the tools we used:
    ✫Heat Pad (Latest Version): amzn.to/39e2q8n

Thanks for the helpful guide! I will be attempting this in future on a iPad 6th gen 2018 model as I intend to reflow the NAND due to error 4013, I will of course be trail and error before a hot air station touches the iPad but if the simple fixes do not work with disconnecting components then it's going to the gun, I also know the CPU can cause this and pretty much anything can though I have a fairly good idea the NAND is to blame. Thanks!

    Why not just say alcohol?
I don't think anyone is stupid enough to pour a beer on the screen trying to open it.

Apple could have made this so easy with a few little screws. They don’t care, just want to sell you another one.

He's doing it wrong anyway You're not supposed to be heating the back you're supposed to be heating the front Heating the back could potentially damage the battery And circuit boards
