  • In this video we have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra that was mailed in from Alexandria Ohio. The phone fell of the clients motorcycle while on the freeway and was run over by several vehicles. Unfortunately the UFS storage chip was fractured when this happened. Because of this, there is no possible way to recover the data from the device. I decide to post this video in hopes to help remind everybody that it's important that we all back up our data regularly.

It's unfortunate that people learn to back up their data after something like this happens. These phones are pretty tough, as you have shown in your other videos, like the phone that got ran over by the mower, but it only takes the right hit in the proper place to destroy everything. Although the chip was dead, I am curious to know if you have ever tried to get the information from it anyway? Anything could be possible. Psych! Haha Great effort in trying to recover the info though. Sorry to hear about the tragic loss of the owners brother.

@@roneckler9937 Yeah. It's crazy how some survive major trauma and some get hit on one of the critical components of the board. I lost my data before. I have all my devices set up for physical on hand backup up and cloud backup. 🫣

I could be wrong but First you could have seen if it boots and try and put back the missing capacitors just like some phones that still work broken or bent but when you repair them they stop working.i think this could of been saved without taking the cpu and ram off just because it was already molded to the structure of the board. I could be wrong but at least trying it would have been a good starting point, Unless you could seen that the crack was already there before starting the process of taking it off. Either way I enjoy your videos man keep up the great work brotha.

@@abrahamsanchez7621 Thanks for nice comments and I'm glad you enjoy my videos. In this case tons of components were floating around like an exploded piñata. There is no way that board would of worked. Too much impact. I always look the chips over before removal. This one eluded me for once. Thanks 🙏🏻

DAMN. I back up my data once every few weeks. I feel for this guy. Wonder if he he had a case or no case? He didn't say but wonder IF JUST IF a case would have made the phone survive a little better??!! Why i also look for the best case possible. I hope he posted those pictures he has of his brother to FB, If he even has one. Can't win them all i guess. Good try though my brotha.

@@ForrestLambert.2022 Not sure if he had a phone case or not. Hopefully he does have memories posted elsewhere. 🙏🏻
