As a kindergarten teacher it is so common for them to mix up p, b, d, 5 and s amongst so many other letters/numbers. They def grow out of it. Like you said they are working so hard to understand so many things for the first time. Sometimes we made up songs with parents permission for example “look at the p the big head p” - and pointed out how the line had a big head that turned it into a p. The fat booty b (which they loved 😅 - warning that one gets carried away. Especially with boys) && the big belly d. Whatever you decide to come up with it definitely helps. Things like that in addition to repetition.

Meals are what I struggle with the most. I’ve started planning dinners about 3 nights out only. I write down what I’m making for those nights so I don’t forget and everyone else knows. Planning more that 3 nights is overwhelming for me. Also, it’s easier for grocery shopping and I throw less food away.
So happy I can watch your vlogg while in hospital after delivering my baby. I can feel normal for a moment and unwind!!😅❤

I literally love your youtube i just started mine but i strive to be this comfortable and have this much quality to my videos
Hi McKenna! I’m 21 now but I remember in elementary I had the same problem with my b’s and d’s. It doesn’t mean dyslexia, the two letters at first can be confusing to remember which one comes first. A teacher taught me to get over it by building a bed with my hands (just two thumbs up put together.) Reinforce that way that b comes before d, it took me about two weeks of one on one help to get past it. It also taught me my left from right at a younger age, hope this helps you or someone else’s baby going throw something similar!!

Taking my little sister to go get diagnose for dyslexia, really helped and improve her reading and over education when they concluded she was dyslexic. Is not something that goes away is something they learn to live with. How dyslexic students learn is very different from someone who isn't dyslexic, ill recommend taking your son to go get diagnose and giving him a teacher the specializes in dyslexia, if thats the case. My little sister is in college now she's thriving, reading and writing beautifully and going to a prestigious college. She was diagnose in elementary school and it changed her life for the better. trust me you would wanna look into this just in case. ❤
I feel like with accessories (hats, jewelry) and cool everyday jackets (I have a black Moto jacket and cute flannel/fall jackets) help me dress up simple outfits like skims sets or even sweats/mom fits ya know? try it! It's actually a natural developmental stage where all children invert their letters. It's not a cause for concern at all. I really wish every parent would take an early childhood development course, because it's such an interesting topic and it would alleviate so many concerns. It also so helpful for parenting in general.
