Melanie Ambler is a Stanford medical student and classically-trained cellist who aspires to integrate the arts into the medical field. She performs virtual concerts for critically ill patients, and hopes to continue bridging the arts and medicine during her time at Stanford Medicine.
"The qualities that require reaching a certain level of music or art are ones that are very valued in medicine like dedication, attention to detail, discipline, and communication. Those general qualities translate really beautifully into being a human-centered provider."
