I suppose you could but it would be a huge pain to do so with how strong and waxy it is. one would be much better off buying a beard balm or butter to get the beard under control

Finally bought a can of the tacky firehouse and it’s now my new favorite! Only wish is that it was more fragrant however I LOVE the hold.

Not sure best thing to do is open it and test it out. if it has an odd scent though id suggest not just incase something went bad.
