Imagine professional directing, bigger courtroom, bettr lighting etc....this sci fi flick could hav actually b an award contender. The story is another scary demonstration of dangerous intrusion of our privacy. Its length could hav bn reduced. Insignificant scenes could hav bn deleted.

What? At the very beginning the mom said GD about it being Sunday and it was heard in other places in the film as well; not 100 times but a lot for someone who's dad was a minister.
So they start by making breakfast of bacon, two eggs and toast and only the mom eats one bite of toast???????????? That is just weird. Why do that???????? What was the point?????????????? Was to distract from the exceptionally bad acting???? I will say that this makes one appreciate even competent acting. Perhaps most actors make it look too easy and we just need a bit of reminding. So well done here!

It only shows that justice is blind. Poor innocent people convicted of a crime that they didn't do. They plead guilty just to lessen their years of imprisonment even it's against their will. The counsel of the dependant shd show to the prosecution what kind of a woman is the victim like she's into drug rehabilitation including her past cases in the court.The counsel was lack of showing evidence, he shd let the mother as the witness proving that her son was in their home & even the accused he shd let him speak in the court stand. I pity those convicted who were innocent rotting in the prison. 😢
Agreed but please also try to understand and remember that any of us could have been born and through no fault of our own ended up with a damaged physiology, which in turn caused us to harm kids, adults, animals or property!

This is a long movie, right? I kept hanging in there because of the story line, apparently, because the acting and dialogue were ugh overall. I stopped to write my comment after the dweeb says, “Isn’t that your job?” to the lawyer. OMG, this kid hasn’t a clue why he was hired. Dude, you have your area of expertise that is hired to help in the defense who is licensed to know law. Should the mailroom challenge the defense atty that any correspondence he has with the prosecutor be taken to a mailbox by a very highly paid lawyer? So, I wish this movie was intelligently executed because the premise had such great potential; it was just so poorly done. The writer got screwed. ps: the science of this does not address the human mind's fantasy vs memory. I may have fantasies of getting even w someone as a memory but, since I didn't act on it, I could have indulged in a fantasy vs a memory that I did something
The acting, indeed, is very bad. I agree with one of the comments below. The actor just speak loudly, as, if they read the script for he first time. Though, "the daughter" acts more naturally. But the actress - wife, irritated me the most. She acts and sounds like an infantile, scared school girl - not, as an intelligent, mature self- confident mother and a writher! I wander - who casted her for this role..And, I've noticed too, that after the breakfast plates were still full..But props people should've cleaned the plates before mother took them away. In order to create an impression that everybody enjoyed the breakfast which son had made for them .Details are everything! I've lost interest to this superficial story after 10 minutes.
